I'm Coming

I am moving to the UK from January the 2nd so I have a few questions :)

1- Are there any members around Crawley (West Sussex) ?

2- I am considering buying a RHD car to drive there. May sound a stupid question but I assume import cars (Altezza, Aristo, skylines ...) are much expensive to insure than UK spec ones, aren't they ?

3- Are there any good place to visit around there ?(performance specialists as exemple :whistling: )

See you soon :D

The South of the country is rather a sad place.....too many cars on the roads, too many cops, too much unintelligent conversation. Get ooop North lad.

quite true for the big smoke....

its great in wiltshire....just have to be carefull of tractors and combine harvesters, but i do like Wiltshire...its rural, not many police, and you dont have to talk to the locals, unless you go to chippenham

i agree though the North is much better, being a manchester lad meself

Mike, I have no choice for the place so I'll stay in the south. I will look for the sheeps :)

Barrie, that would be good to see you again aswell. I have a special contract for 3 years then I will have to choose if I stay or come back to France.

Mat, I don't need fields only roads :tomato:

The best point is it will be easier for me to come to the events, no need to wake at 4 and be back at midnight after 1000kms in the day lol

thanks Dave, the housing is my biggest worry at the moment as I won't be able to come to UK before January so I will find a hotel for the first weeks.

go to www.yell.com search for letting agents in Crawley you can get an idea of prices availability from that....
