OK,

went to italy in June....stayed close to Florence.

Took 2 days to get there (overnighted in Lyon)

Drove past the Mugello race circuit and had an idea.........

Have contacted them and am talking about a 2 day event whereby "we" have sole use of the circuit.

would limit it to say 40 cars and idea is to have open pit lane for 2 days (prob mid week)

idea is to block book a hotel close to Florence so partners could get culture if they want................

Trip down is exceptional with 15 mile long tunnels and largely police free roads....

Its sort of like the track days you get over here, but you will need X amount of people, to make it cheaper :D

Hoping for May/June 2008...

Its a balnce on numbers/overall cost 100 cars would make it too cheap and crowded 30 more expensive but less crowded and safer IMHO

I would be up for that defo, need to get back into english life though been away for the last 8months, so save the money and then i will be there, would be a great week away.
