Hi ALL

had my Is200 now for 3 weeks, v happy.

one or two questions.

I was reading the workshop post about the folding mirrors via the remote control.

I am not two good with electronics (soldering !), has anyone made this circuit using a standard relay and timer? if so can this sort of thing be purchased from Maplin?

I have managed to following the wiring diagram for the headunit and have by passed the amp and installed a Clarion 7" in-dash widescreen DVD player. (Screens on the headrests are next).

Geoffers is the electrics expert, and yes i believe you can buy all the parts from maplins.

If you have Sat Nav you cannot [really] replace the headunit.

i have not got nav (coming soon in the form of a VDO Unit).

the rear speakers were a pain to do, because of thier shape, had to build a spacer to mount them.
