12.1 seems a bit low. Is that a spec or your output? The regulators should be set not to drop below 13.8v.

Output should be at least 1v over the specified voltage to charge the Battery. In no case should

charging voltage ever be less than 12.5 volts.

Just for reference, a fully charged Battery at 70 deg F is 12.6 volts.

Just went down to check again, and it's 12.3 - that's the reading I get on my Greddy Auto Timer.........

Just went down to check again, and it's 12.3 - that's the reading I get on my Greddy Auto Timer.........

did you have the neons and hair dryer on?

oh and the mirror in the boot with the little lights around it ? :blink:

Bang on the 12V line, I had concerns about this too... In the lexus book it shows the needle pointing to 9 and says if yours is different then take it to dealer :whistling: not just me then

I had exactly the same experiance :blush:
