Hi Adrian
If I remember correctly from when we had an RX400h cruise control does not work if the gear leaver is in the "B" position. Could that be your intermittent problem? It used to catch us out on the odd occasion!

Interesting thing, my ECP invoice shows the LIST PRICE for the pads as £345.24, but the UNIT PRICE I paid was £52.90.
And yes, the part number on both the invoice and the box is 101-82-101A. Lower down there is a P83146 number that I've seen used on other websites, including Amazon I think.
I agree because half the time it's not the whole set that pack up. To be honest it's not worth worrying about. I haven't even heard of a failure yet.

Optimum settings are largely subjective, in my GS I put treble a bit under max, mid slighly over center and bass too, but it's just my preference.
Remember to regulate them for each source separately.
Don't let the cost of a new battery pack frighten you, it doesn't make sense to purchase a new battery pack from Lexus. Just get the old one repaired for a few hundred pounds or find a secondhand battery from a scrapped vehicle.
the hybrid battery warranty is extended by 12mths after haveing a lexus service carried out, you can also purchase a 2 year lexus warranty for only £495
this includes 2 years of AA european breakdown cover and mot insurance.
Nice one Dave
My wheels are also badly in need of a refurb, so need to address this at some point. I have read that it is best to get them acid stripped and powder coated to help prevent corrosion in the future.
Speak of spec, I have recently discovered that if you open the drivers door and have a look on the pillar next to the door latch, there should be a sticker telling you what spec it is.
Maybe I'm over cautious. I just want to know that HID is dead.
I would not want a jolt from one of them that's for sure. That capacitor holds a hefty charge.
If you opt not to disconnect the battery it would be wise to only go in there after a day or overnight without use of the lights.
It is easier to change a HID bulb than the Halogen type on the IS220/250. That's been my experience anyway.
Yes will do an up and down then centre when started in the dark. They have no headlight adjuster in the car, which is also a give away.
Strange no full history have you been on gov.com history search.
