Anyone know how the rear seat backrest is fixed on - I want to get behind it and ahve removed the 4 bolts at the base but still can't get the backrest to shift along the top edge ...

Not an expert but there must be some type of limit switch at base of travel - it may be that this needs adjusting ...

Makes me laugh round our way: Use your phone while driving ... Map read while driving - even read books if you like (seen both recently) Jump lights ... Drive dangerously ... Carve others up ... Wack up the volume till your windows bounce ... Just don't speed past the cameras and you'll never get done. Also why do coppers still use their radios on pursuits - can hardly be called hands-free if they have to hold the mike button everytime they talk ...

re: Pads I had the same issue with Guildford - collected car at 34k and at 40k service few moths later needed pads all round - too little material left to even leave garage with !! Was told they wear quick when I challenged them so argued a discount but still miffed now - funny how the set they fitted has lastest for 32k so far without needing replacement !! Pre-delivery inspection counts for nowt.

Just washed mine with car suds and toothbrush - left to dry for a bit then painted with Dark Blue Smoothrite - chrome stckers and regular spray laquer next day to finish - lubbly jubbly ...

Oh no - at Brands Hatch all day - just got in - missed it - missus set video up but it didn't record properly !! Anyone catch it on video or DVD I can copy ?

Mad on the cost front and with the improved engineering tolerances these days as well as better oil technology probably a complete waste of time but old habits die hard ... Plus it makes me feel good doing something in return for all the fun I have thrashy around :P
