  1. My RX had a vibration caused by wheel bearing
  2. The bolsters soften over time. The side bolsters on the base are initially quite stiff. The other thing is that the seat isn't positioned correctly. Even the f sport seats are the most comfortable seats in the business so they shouldn't be causing any discomfort
  3. Any interior cleaner/ dressing is fine for the dash and doorcards Leather cleaner or diluted All purpose cleaner on the seats followed by a sealant
  4. It depends on the degree of inner wear too. If its like 0.5mm compared to other side it probably is normal If it's more than 1mm there's an alignment issue Or the other factor is the speedbreakers which you have to straddle over
  5. bulges in the sidewall of tyres tend to be massively associated with runflats along with rims cracking. If it was me Id be removing all 4 when they wear out and replacing them with normal tyres. I did it with the C class and it made a massive difference to the quietness and ride quality
  6. It's not normal on an NX But it definitely is normal on an IS or a GS
  7. Are the new NX tyres runflats? In which case very likely a pothole has been hit causing the bulge. Needs a replacement for sure as it could risk a blowout
  8. Its the response that should be given to all car dealerships They're all sub contracted to valeters - not detailers. It doesn't matter if its a Lexus or a Rolls Royce, there's still a valeter there trying to wash 20-30 cars in a day
  9. The wash at service is a quick wash done very quickly. To be honest, if you don't want scratches you should be telling them not to wash the car.
  10. There aren't any tunes available due to the ECU being locked. However, tuning boxes are available such as racechip which do give some gains albeit not what is advertised
  11. Nothing is too long in this day and age. We've been waiting over 16 months for a VW Golf which hasnt been built yet.
  12. Its entirely due to the used car market though, not the LC itself I could still sell one of my cars for the same price I bought it for 2 years ago
  13. I think most people fail to grasp the fact that the Michelin Pilot Sport range is absolutely horrible in colder conditions. If you don't have a separate winter setup, you'd be better off going for an all season tyre if available or a decent touring tyre. There are a lot of reviews which test UHP tyres but the problem is that they don't seem to test them under 10 degrees where their performance is quite poor
  14. There is no touch up paint or colour code for the wheels Some places can match it reasonably well but youd need a full refurbishment on all four for them to be all the same
  15. Do the following: confused.com, comparethemarket, moneysupermarket, gocompare. Then use quotezone. Then, go on directline.com Finally - go to Chris knott brokers and ask them if they can beat the cheapest which they normally can. If no luck - haggle with the cheapest insurer over the phone or your current insurer
  16. That's staining. It's typical of cars being through hand car washes at the local Romanian place or too strong diluted tfr
  17. It probably doesn't need it but the price sounds right. The gas is quite expensive to get now
  18. Sounds pretty wear and tear to me. Anything can cause them to become degraded including chemicals, de-icer etc The wiper blades on the UX are denso
  19. Just stick with Bridgestone dueler a. They're decent tyres
  20. They're probably set too low which is common.
  21. The ride isnt massively better on the different trim levels to be honest. It's one of the smoother cars in its class so if you're troubled by it you'll need to step up to something like a GS or E class size
  22. I think its worth seeing the vehicle and seeing how it drives. If the price is good i.e. £3-4k less than an equivalent car with Full lexus service history at a Lexus dealer it might be worth a punt. You won't get any serious long term damage with an oil change at 16k miles and also over 2 years if its only travelled 8k in that time. For piece of mind you could get a Lexus service which would then give it 1 years Relax warranty
