  1. In the manual that I have it is under Power Back Door on page 478 (in the chapter titled Customizable Features)
  2. I have noticed a similar improvement in MPG from the 'old' to the facelifted model. I think it may be a little quieter too.
  3. You can also check the MOT history of a car, if that is of use to you: https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history
  4. You could also call different dealerships and see if you get the same answer.
  5. Alan, F-Sport versions with the Takumi pack or the Takumi model come with either the pan roof or a traditional sunroof although the latter is rarer. Cars with the sunroof also have the flush fitted roof rails you are familiar with. Could this be an option for you? Some examples: https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/Lexus/NX/300h-25-Takumi-5dr-CVT-Sunroof-vdck3kg https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/Lexus/Nx-Estate/300h-25-Takumi-Sun-Roof-vdckxu2
  6. Fair enough. I thought it was either pan roof or sun/moon roof on this spec/model year, and that 'neither' was not an option. Unfortunately, the various packs seem to change all the time, which makes it difficult to keep track. Mine has the Premier/Takumi pack and has all that you have listed, except the drivers seat memory.
  7. The car was first registered in February 2018 and was serviced two days ago. It is just over 3 years old, but only had just over 10,000 miles on the clock when I bought it in February this year.
  8. I have cancelled the extended warranty also and I am waiting for a refund. It was just a question of phoning the dealer and took no longer than 5 minutes. I was told that Lexus Relax is replacing the extended warranty, but unfortunately I did not think of asking whether all extended warranties will be cancelled and refunds issued as a matter or course, or whether it is up to car owners.
  9. The links don't work? - Just copy and paste them in your browser... Looks like the black Gatwick NX is this one: https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/Lexus/Nx-Estate/300h-25-F-Sport-5dr-Auto-Premium-Nav-mqck934 It does not have the panoramic roof, which would suggest that it has a sunroof. For that model year, it was either one or the other. There are no pictures, so you may want to enquire as to the colour of the inside. It could be black or red (I don't think the cream interior was available on 2018 F-Sports). If this is of interest to you, you may want to check whether the cars have had Apple Play / Android Auto retrofitted. So long as the cars have the 10.5 in display, the compatibility is there, but 2018 didn't come with AP/AA fitted as standard. Having said this, it costs around £90 to get this retrofitted so you should be able to get this thrown in. Have you looked at the Lexus website, rather than Auto Trader? - The prices on there are not as bad as you'd think and you get a good warranty.
  10. Current favourite: The Bonny, Gerry Cinnamon.
  11. Actually you may be right. I seem to recall a post from @rayaan saying that Essential Care/Servicing was being discontinued.
  12. I thought so too, but... https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/lexus-essential-care/#hero
  13. Mine is going in tomorrow... I too will try and find out more.

  15. Nope, full Lexus service history does not seem to be a pre-requisite according to this article... https://www.whatcar.com/news/toyota-introduces-free-10-year-warranty/n23098 The new Relax warranty scheme doesn’t cost car owners anything, and it’s applicable to all vehicles, regardless of whether they have been bought from a Toyota dealer, independent garage or a private buyer. It’s also not dependent on the car having a full Toyota service history; as long as it’s had a full or interim service by a Toyota dealer, it will gain the warranty cover. Reading the article, one can safely assume that the names Toyota/Lexus can be interchanged. I wonder what happens it you recently have taken an extended warranty... do you get some money back?
  16. I will be interested to hear if you run into any issues. I recently switched from Google Maps to Waze as it provides more up to date information (both are own by Google, but I find Waze to be more accurate and user friendly) and I listen to Spotify most of the time. However, I find that after while the phone overheats and Spotify starts to stutter. Not sure yet what is causing the overheating: could be either Waze or Spotify or Android Auto itself. I have removed the Spigen case I was using but this has not made any difference. The problem has only starting to appear recently: Up until a few weeks ago, trips were no longer than 15 or so minutes due to lockdown, so I'm guessing that the phone may not have had enough time to overheat.
  17. I too had the same problem on my previous NX. Rubber pads fixed it.
  18. May I ask how many miles you have covered with the xClimates? I had them on my previous RX and then NX, but each time I changed car before the tyres needed changing again. I loved their quiet and sure footed performance, but I have heard people complain that they don't last as long as the competition. I'm guessing that while the softer compound makes for better comfort and less noise, it loses in longevity.
  19. I do have the larger, post-facelift charging tray, but my phone is longer than the tray by a few millimetres, unfortunately. It's the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus.
  20. I can relate to that: in the NX, the charging tray is in the armrest and I always forget my phone when I leave the car. I have to say that I don't use the charging tray for charging. First because my phone does not fit (it's too long and can't lay flat in the tray), and the phone needs to be plugged in to use Android Auto... in which case it charges at the same time anyway.
  21. I'm guessing that the new NX will be based on the new Toyota bZ4X?
