    You fixed the problem yourself!........it's down to crap road surfaces everywhere, as you say , find a decent bit of road and the noise drops to virtually nothing........ :)

    Turn ignition on, adjust seat etc., then press SET and 1 , you should hear a beep. Only works with ign. on, not when engine running :winky:

    Check brake fluid level, check the sensors and wires for accumalated dirt. Behind the hub, looks like a castle wall , rotates with the wheel, this and end of wire must be clean.

    Check all the sensors again, any with open [ie broken] circuit will keep the warning light on

    Sometimes just a change to some top quality engine oil helps quieten the tappets.....have u tried it?

    Did anyone notice the comment from the commentator that they coud'nt trace the driver 'cos he mingled with the crowd? In my opinion they should have arrested the bl**dy lot of them and locked them all up till they gave up the culprit. As usual, gutless when it comes to crime, brilliant at motoring offences etc.

    Have you checked these fuses....... 10amp tail fuses L and R ........fuse box near pedals 15 amp tail fuse............................................................................"........".........." 15 amp fuses in the smaller fuse box under the bonnet[ near the large fuse box] 10 amp GAUGE fuse [f/box near pedals]. Tailight relay in boot behind side panel?

    A few questions for you!! I would like to know if any of the politicians have ever seen a map of the UK.? Based on the size of it and the amount of tax all the mugs have to pay [me included] , why arern't the roads gold plated.? Why is the health service a joke, drifting to third world standard? Will the potential suicide bombers, if convicted, be jailed,stripped of British citizenship and then deported to Iraq.? Can I emmigrate to somewhere warm..... Can pigs fly?

    For LS 400 17" [8x17] the offset is 40

    If this ia an Ls 400, check both' dizzy 'caps are fitted correctly. Are all the plug leads on the right plugs?

    Might be worth throwing a bottle of Redex in the tank, might free float if thats the problem.......
