  1. Really useful Vlad, thank you 🤝 - mine is F* - I can see why my insurance is the level it is now 😐
  2. I thought for my RX it was about 45mph when EV is activated, but I'm going to see if I get to 50mph now! 🙂
  3. I've seen this when I cruise away from the petrol station after filling up...until the engine kicks in 😄
  4. I guess I meant relatively speaking to where the OP is located 😄 The journey back home after I bought it was sublime though 🙂
  5. I bought my RX from Lexus MK in December 2019, and I have no regrets in doing so. Obviously back then we were in very different times to where we are today, but I live some distance away in Stockport, and the majority of the interactions were via phone and e-mail. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
  6. I would agree with the use of Hybrid Assistant. I recently purchase an OBDLink LX to use with Hybrid Assistant/Hybrid Reporter and I have to say it is very good indeed. A wealth of information can be analysed and the real-time functionality of the Hybrid Assistant can help guide you to improve your efficiency and hybrid driving techniques.
  7. And a shorter review of the MK2 from 1995: https://www.theaa.com/staticdocs/pdf/carreports/AA_REPORTS/LEXUS_LS_400_R9502.PDF
  8. I bought this gauge about 7 or 8 years ago, and have had no trouble with it at all. The gauge seems very accurate and it feels like a quality piece of kit: https://www.drapertools.com/product/69924/Tyre-Pressure-Gauge-with-Flexible-Hose
  9. Although not a used buyer's guide, the other day I stumbled across this review the AA did back in 1991 of the LS400 (courtesy of the wonderful WayBack website): https://web.archive.org/web/20140825135300/http://www.theaa.com/staticdocs/pdf/carreports/AA_REPORTS/LEXUS_LS_400_(AUTOMATIC)_R9126.PDF
  10. Hi Nicholas, hello and welcome to the forums. The best VIN decoder I've used previously is this one: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q.html There is also another on the Lexus Tech website: https://www.lexus-tech.eu/euro5search/VehicleSpecifications
  11. It may be worth inquiring if it is possible to fit a plastic protection strip instead (not sure if this is available for the NX). I have one fitted on my RX (came as part of the protection pack already fitted when I bought it): https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/parts/lexus-rx/lexus-rx-phase-iv-2015-present/lexus-rx-4-exterior-interior/lexus-rx-phase-4-plastic-rear-bumper-protection-plate/
  12. I had a UX 250h as a courtesy car back in November when I had the fuel pump recall done on my RX. 'Mine' was a 70 plate Premium Pack model with just a few hundred miles on the clock. I found the driving experience pretty good, it felt quite fast and had a bit more get up and go compared to a CT courtesy car I had driven in September for my service. I felt the ride was better than the CT too, but I enjoyed the driving experience of both. Hopefully I'll get to go in an NX next time to experience the difference again 🙂
  13. I know most people haven't be able to use their cars as much during lockdown (myself included as I've been working at home), but I generally drive 'the long way round' to any places I need to go to, e.g. food shopping. Helps to charge the battery up and to still enjoy driving the car 🙂
