Gold Plated Badges

I spotted a black RX 300 with the gold plated badges and it looked pretty cool.

Is this still cool or passe ?

If cool - where do they do this ?

I had the Gold badges on mine and I really liked them but when I put on the bigger wheels and side bars which were chrome I put the chrome badges back on.

There are always gold badges on eBay. If you are really interested in a set I can post a link for you if I dig it out.

In the end it's a matter of personal taste. I do think it looks more classy on the darker coloured cars though.

Gold badges attract too much attention from the Pond Life. When they thieved mine I never bothered to replace them and now have very small TRD badges on the wings and grille, almost impossible for a toe rag to remove.

I'm happy with the gold ones on mine (Canterbury Blue).

Midas Touch do emblems (often a link at the bottom of these pages), but check eBay first.

Not keen on the gold badges, but have seen them on a red IS300 round my ways and looked ok, but wouldnt put them on mine
