Right then…..

We’re just about as far as we can go with the NA IS300…..so the time has come to make that 2JZ-GE lump breathe more air. I’ve been talking to the Prolex power guru and some of the guys over on IS.net and these are the plans:

Toyomoto supercharger kit – deemed to be the best and most reliable compressor available

2JZ-GTE internals upgrade – pistons, rods, head gasket to handle that extra power

VB upgrade, auto tranny fluid cooler

Emanage Ultimate FAC

Camcon VVTi controller

Front/rear chassis braces

Fat rubber at the back

A few other goodies

So, why a supercharger? Well, the Toyomoto supercharger is the most reliable FI system on the market. A supercharger also does not require a new manifold, so I can stick with the awesome Prolex decatted manifold.

@ Mr Singh - don't care about the mpg, the car isn't a daily runaround. Yes a pully upgrade will be required but it's not rocket science.

It's the labour, which we don't know yet as it hasn't been done before

Very nice indeed Mike i'll be following very carefully as ive been lookin at the turbo conversion for the is300 over in the states and am very very tempted. would love to come up and see some of testing when its being done. Is it all being shipped from the states

yep the toyo kit is reputed the best,, good luck morsypoo's,,, so you is gona be the fist s/c in the uk and me is the first turbo in the uk,,, should make for a nice magazine spread dont you think..
