Well, I just got home from buying an £1800 set of horn speakers.

I'd post a picture but am dumb on that side, so you'll have to look up 'Avantgarde Solo' to see the jet-engine like monsters.

Phenomenal sound of course! It's been my main interest for 30+ years. (Though its the MUSIC...the speakers are just a journey into ever clearer/dynamic sounds.

MOST expensive? Cash for LS ser 4. (Apart from house of course.)

Most expensive for (now) partner? Flying to New Zealand to surprise her in our early days! She's still here so..... :)

Scarily and in no particular order:

1st wedding :crybaby:

Divorce

Engagement rings :P

2nd wedding & honeymoon :P

Kids!

best bargain was Michell Transcriptors hydraulic Reference Turntable for £300 about 6 years ago. It's probably worth about £800 - £1000 now and just looks and sounds awesome. The guy I bought it from paid a fiver for it from a boot fair :whistling:

No car related stuff as we all know that can mount to silly amounts.

I would say mine would be jewellery off top of my head for girlfriends.

Well now the most expensive thing i have bought as of yesterday is a £25k Rolex for myself. Its about time i thought of myself again. I also bought a psp as well to keep me amused.

£25k for a watch :duh: ...............That's almost half of what I paid for my house :o

Each to his/her own I suppose

Wow, don't think I could have a watch worth more than my car, would personally rather have a £50k car and a £100 watch than both of equal value :P

Must be a damn nice watch though :winky:

Not the Rolex "Daytona" is it ( i.e. The Paul Newman one)? That is one sought after Rolex...one long waiting list...

I'm a cheap skate, bought my wife a Rado (£350) too, after she'd bought me one first (£1100)!!

£5k for block booking of personal training sessons. After completing all the sessions, I'm still a fat :tsktsk:

I would have trained you for that amount of cash. I would have also guaranteed that you would have lost weight and fat.

Whoever trained you is not worth their job. These reperebate personal trainers are a load of bollocks. Read up on the net as all the info you require is there and just put the hard work in.

No Jamboo it is not the daytona. I find them a little bulky.
