Got my V11 (Road tax reminder) through last friday and the renewal price is £165.00 for 12 months. When I tried to renew it on line, the price came up to £190. Which on is correct?

Unfortunately, cars that used to cost £165 pa, went up in the Budget on 22nd March to £190 (band F cars). So if the IS 200 is a band F car, that's why the higher rate will apply. You should find there is some small print on the renewal form that warns about budget changes.

£190 and your complaining. In Ireland we pay €539 that's £374.

That's the trouble with being older! I can even just remember petrol at 30p a gallon. That's 7p a litre I could fill up my bike for a pound in those days........ ;)

Just taxed my IS200 Sport 2 weeks ago and I can confirm that the car is in band F and costs £190. Dylight robbery!!

Seems that the V11's come through at £175...when it comes to paying for the good old road tax they get you to cough up an extra £15...sounds like a good trade, Thing is the roads are still in sh*te condition... andybody just tried shouting Oi Noooooo?!?
