What's Your Tyre Choice

I need to renew my 4 tyres.

Currently i have Dunlop 9000 Sports fitted 215/45/17 fitted to my IS.

What tyres do you have on your car?

eagle f1s gsd3, damn sight better than the pirelli p zeros fitted at factory.

michelin pilot sports on all corners. bit overproced for what they are i think, and have quite a lot of road noise

i have bridgestones, dont drive hard enough to say if they are ok, i liked the fact that they were only £ 20 dearer than a budget tyre,

someone will turn around and say well they are a budget tyre

What do people think of the SP9000s? I've got two new ones on the front, but the rears are getting worn. They are P6000 Pirellis, I'm thinking of getting two new Dunlops as I prefer the keep the same on all four wheels, and it was designed for the car...

Same for me all round, having driven on normal roads and on tracks they are the best all round tyre i've found. Even on roads with an inch of standing water they still grip like no ones business.

Oh and the tread pattern looks the best :winky:

Got 25K out of the last set so wear is OK and good grip in all conditions.

An unbiased feed back over many car clubs is the F1, from my prospective these are proving to be the tyre that delivers it's manufacturer's promise.... (for once)

I had Mitchelin Pilot Premicy Pro's on the starion. Great tyres still looked like they had done no miles after I sold it and had covered aprox 12k on them but they were expensive £110 each! Ive put Yokohamas on the lex now they seem alot better than the federals that were on there, not quiet as good as the mitchelin but yoko's are £70 each so good value for money.

Very grippy which is a pain as its hard to drift even in the wet (think the turbo will sort that out :) )

I currently have Michilin Pilots on mine. When shopping around cheapest places i could find fitted was £150 through black circle. However costco came to the rescue and charge £120! They are great tyres bit noisey but better than P zero's that were on. I get around 15k miles on these compared to 9k on the P zero's

i got rainsports all round,cos i needed cheap tyres,they have turned out to be better than the potenzas on before

I have had Rainsports before on a previous car, they are very good and well priced...unfortunatly i replaced them with Avon ZV3's...big mistake!

Is that a fitted Euro price for the Eagle F1's? If so, it sounds good, I paid 175 a corner last year.

Well 630 fitted, balanced. aligned in a place in Crumlin in Dublin. Still dont want to pay that much. Cant find any Toyo suppliers in Ireland only over the net. Havent been looking too hard though

It was apparently Hanover Tyres in Tallaght (on the Belgard Road). He reckons they're the only place that do them.

Toyo proxes T1-R...... got them for 510 euro delivered from eiretyres, cost 50 euro to fit and balance with new valves....

Great confidence boosting tyres.....
