You Can Get Over 450 Miles Out Of 60 Litres

Had a big run on yesterday so i put a full tank in (60litres)

Got home last night without the fuel light on and showing 451 miles, id probably get another 20 mile out of it at least looking at the fuel guage

mostly "A" road dual carriageway and normal rural "A" road and a small amount of Motorway.

I did

Stoke to Liverpool

Liverpool to Derby

Derby to Thetford (Norfolk)

Thetford to Stoke

All i did was kept away from hard acceleration.

I would have said more, I reckon there's about 10l left when the light comes on.

my tank was virtually empty and i put in 59 litres, thats when the pump cut off to say theres no more room

Crikey, you like sailing close to the wind if you filled up with 59 litres in a 60 litre tank. You had about 5 miles tops on normal consumption left before empty!!

DON'T PANIC!!

IS200 Fuel tank IS 70 litres - unless it's shrunk in later models.

Check your owners manual and you'll see it specifies in there.

Inside back cover is "GAS STATION INFORMATION".

sounds about right, I regularly get at the very least 370 (town+motorway) to 400 (just motorway) by not being heavy footed and using the cruise control as much as poss

average around 30mpg

It better be a 70 ltr tank as I very regularly fill up with 65 ltrs of fuel!! :shutit:

Mine does about the same on a good run i got 452 miles to 60ltrs of fuel worked out at 34.25mpg, I was told by a dealer that when the light comes on you have approx 10ltrs left in the tank not sure how true that is though?
