  1. The saloon skirt won't fit as the bumpers are different, but as long as the IS-C hasn't been facelifted then that skirt in your link will fit won't it? Or is it not available in the UK? The F-Sport alloys are 19", but I'm not sure these bits are directly available in the UK. I think they're talking about the alloys off the IS250 F-Sport which are 18". F-Sport 1 F-Sport 2
  2. As above that's a pretty serious dent for a door opening onto it type incident - yep dent removal guys will be able to get that out. Sounds like they're cheaper where you are though, as it's about £80 per panel in London :duh:
  3. I think £70 is a bit of a bargain as long as the damage is just cosmetic.
  4. Stunning - not sure I would have got a red one but I want one! :D
  5. I assume that Lexus are spending a lot of money hoping it will - unfortunately I'm not convinced it'll work as the CT just doesn't look interesting enough. Only time will tell though, sometimes simple association with a celeb can be enough for people to go out and buy something
  6. I also thought it came in later, but this seems to claim otherwise. How did you get it on yours?
  7. Looks good, I think the RX alloy has an offset of 35 which could be why you're getting some rubbing - but then I think Ormi's alloys are also 35 and he's dropped to the floor so maybe he can comment :)
  8. That's a bit of a shame, new ones are in the ballpark of £150 I think but don't know for sure.
  9. I personally think a dark colour works best on the IS-C as it hides some of its ungainly figure but silver or white looks good too.
  10. Hard luck, at least you found the problem easily though and will be sorted soon :)
  11. You'll need to have them powdercoated for the best result - any decent wheel refurber should be able to do it for you.
  12. Glad it went so smoothly for you - how much was the installation? Although given that mileage (if you do that regularly) it'll pay for itself in no time!
  13. Been looking into this myself recently as I need some new rear tyres, annoying thing about this test is that they use a FWD car compared to autocar who use both RWD and FWD - results are not too far off each other though so no big deal really.
  14. That's awesome, glad it all worked out - enjoy the weekend!
  15. Yep if you get the standard wheels off the base model they'll just bolt right on :)
  16. Any car parts stores nearby where you might be able to get some snow chains/socks? That's a real bummer, especially that you can't claim via your travel insurance..........your plan B does now sound like the best option unfortunately..... :shutit:
  17. Don't worry mate I'm not a lot better! I suppose you could look for a clean section near the other weights which could indicate there was something stuck there that has now come off. It could be something else of course but best way would be to pop into a tyre place and have the wheel balance checked to begin with. Could it be a buckled wheel also? Have you hit any potholes or anything?
  18. How bad is it? Could it be a balancing weight has fallen off or something?
  19. Could you drive to London or are the roads all jammed up too? Obviously not the best solution but that way you don't lose everything..........
  20. I've been told that you shouldn't actually swap tyres front to rear as it accelerates wear and as you've found affects handling.
  21. Why is this in the RX section? But yeah, 8 inches of snow, best to stay at home :)
  22. That's awesome, and happy birthday! Is that metallic icing?
  23. It's not necessarily a bad car in the snow, just got the wrong tyres on for the weather - remember people use these in Scandinavia and they get by fine. Get some snow socks, or if you have prolonged periods of snow up north well worth having a set of winter wheels.
