  1. Chasing the car up is not going to make any difference. The problem is that it creates a lot of extra work when people are constantly contacting for updates on their vehicle which diverts time and attention from other things. Just wait and see it through The new car market is very volatile at the moment and realistically no one really knows when the car will turn up
  2. It looked like a coach to me at first. On doing more research seems to be a Bluebus by Bollore which have since been withdrawn due to two fires. Apparently it has batteries in the roof and the rear section where the engine would originally be. There doesnt appear to be any space under the floor as the majority of it is flat until just before the rear wheels and its too close to the ground - It also has air suspension so that it can accommodate kerbs of different heights so maybe a risk of bottoming out Its using solid state batteries with a range of 320km
  3. Its a new system - there will be some teething issues. Updates will take some time - id say a few months Mercedes have had their app out for years and it still doesnt unlock and lock the car!
  4. Cant imagine that being a write off unless you go to insurer I think a second hand light unit and wing could sort that out fairly easily.
  5. I would take the RX any day. The NX feels a bit lethargic. I dont have any issues driving the RX, its very easy to drive. Id say its easier to drive than an equivalent length saloon as you can look down and see where the kerbs, ditches and small humans are.
  6. It's said 400km in other markets for the UX300e since 2019. If you search Google with Lexus ux300e 400km you can see the dates of the articles
  7. Definitely dont Some of them are poor quality and corrode which can be a pain And above else, I would definitely have a deflated tyre than a damaged tyre. Ive seen all sorts including biros used to puncture tyres
  8. Yes you can Just remove identifiable and financial information I've not heard anything about it. And it seems extremely odd as it'll basically have the range as the RZ
  9. There's no way they'd be able to get 250 miles out of it. There's no where to put extra battery packs to increase the range tbh unless they put more into the boot and make it smaller Are you sure they don't mean the RZ
  10. That's a good option and I would definitely get rid of the insurance and dash cams They'll be half the price of Lexus cost elsewhere anyway
  11. They've been offering brochures and price lists since launch? 🤔
  12. Cars get revised every model year though. Some of them are not apparent
  13. Options are that you can suck it up and just see how it goes or cancel the order. I don't see any other solution to your concern.
  14. Dodo juice supernatural leather cleaner followed by Gyeon Leather Guard
  15. The RC doesnt have one, foot brake only. I think he means on another vehicle. The Merc ones are flipping annoying. With my C-Class its electronically controlled with a button, push to engage, pull to disengage. What I dont understand is, why it doesnt just do it automatically when its put into Park
  16. I can only put it down to laziness. On a forum you dont actively have to look at the replies until a later time whereas with a manual you actively have to look through it. To be fair, the manual might be big but its quite easy to follow and understand. Additionally the pdf version, you can search for words and is even quicker to navigate around than the paper one.
  17. Depends really. If theres a price change for the MY23 and you get a MY23 model they'll increase the cost of the vehicle as it wont be locked in. Its a similiar thing to what will be happening to the updated UX
  18. You can just contest it I suppose. Not really much you can do about cloned plates in all honesty
  19. Im sure they're probably having chip issues for the Mark Levinson system. Harman Industries which seems to own harman kardonm, Mark Levinson amongst others is having a chip crisis. Other brands have already dropped the ability to choose HK as an option and have clearly noted it may take longer for the car to arrive to thos that specified it
  20. In my opinion you're generally better off just taking it to Lexus to do especially with the minimal difference in cost. I think its £149 at Lexus Leeds and looking at ATS its £134 for the same gas. Its very unlikely that you need a proper re-gas unless its got a leak somewhere by the way
  21. You do realise a lot of that is marketing BS right? Yes auto folding mirrors, a few spot welds here and there with a larger touch screen system Fundamentally it's the same vehicle that looks exactly the same on the outside. It's being marketed as a facelift which it's not, it's an update at best. Sort of like how BMW and VW have their MY changes.
