How far did you travel to view or buy your F?

Haha, that Merc could be green with pink spots and still look good.

They had a green one at MB World when I was there last weekend - looked good.

I might go back with some pink stickers to try our your theory :wink3:

This has put the cat among the pigeons! Having second thoughts now on silver... I need to see one in the flesh..

I wouldn't listen to me, I'm looking at the civic type r this afternoon so my taste is unreliable at best

3 hours each way, once to view and test and a week later to go pick it up. When I bought there were only 2 blue ones for sale and the other one had grey seats. I wanted black seats and blue paint. Anything else was irrelevant to me.

In fact today is exactly 12 months since the test.

Picked if up on the F-ifth day of the F-ifth month.

150miles each way, twice.

Travelled from Essex to Lexus Derby and was glad I did. There was one closer in Lexus Ipswich, but it didn't have many options,  and it was seeing what the current prices were when I picked up my IS300h from service that sparked my interest.

I had to travel to Sussex for my Supra which was not so far, but I've always been willing to travel for the right car, but you have to accept that sometimes you can be disappointed.

One just passed us on the motorway. The Mrs said “It looks like it’s crashed through Halfords window”

I would travel to Scotland if the right car came up and I am in London. Just means an epic drive home!

Agree with the above the rcf looks really odd in silver.

There’s only one RCF-CE for sale in the UK on AT / Lexus used - (Silver) @ £41k. High mileage however @16,000 miles

Indeed, not too long ago there were 4 or 5. I would expect there to be fewer this time of year as summer approaches. Also, I expect towards the end of summer more will become available again. Also, the 2016 MY cars will be coming in the market as they become 3 years old.

Talking of crashing cars through Halfords front windows, has anyone in the UK imported a body kit for the RC-F?

@Big Rat any pics you've seen?

Currently I'm trying to be patient waiting for the "right" RCF to come up for sale..

One possible option appeared on AT @ Audi Aberdeen which is unfortunately 351miles/5hrs 30min from me according to Google maps:wallbash:...

So just out of interest how far did you travel to view or buy yours?

Do you want me to go look at it and take some piccies 'cos I'm in Aberdeen.  Happy to come get you from airport/station/docks if you need it.

I travelled from Aberdeen to Edinburgh for my current IS250 but have been as far afield as Manchester and Bristol.

@Tfp Tim start with the most in your face one first but it is very well made and the large rear wing is an option. Not to everyone's tast but personally I quite like the aggressive looks and wheel option........ it's a rocket bunny..... yes quite

Thanks for the very kind offer Ken! They've sent me a video with commentary of the car today and I'm I'm in discussion with them now..
