My cousin has just bought an IS200 and is looking for a set of roof bars for her baby. As she lives in Kent she hasn't got a lot of money to spare. Any recomendations? I have told her to join the club but she is too busy enjoying the new car at the moment. :D

In the same possition as you Simon and like yourself I am looking for a diesel sport. Had many test drives of IS250 manuals and autos and the sport version i find better. Diesel sport is the one for me and I am waiting for the right ex-demo in Red to arrive, but few and far between with satnav and sun-roof. Black looks stunning but paint chips show easily. Good hunting.

My IS200 is now 5 years old and having MOT and service on friday. We all had bad alloys, but they were changed with no quibbles. My CD playeer was changed under warranty three years ago and since then---- NILL - NADA- NAFALL... Boring car never goes wrong, still looks great when i fill up at the forecourt. Must be a bad thing to be a Lexus dealer because you never see you clients because they have no reason to visit you. Had wonderful service from Lexus Wolverhampton and am saving my wifes pennies for either a 250 Sport or 220D Sport. Decisions decisions.......PS hello at all my friends at LOC, am still around!

Glad to see the appeal court has turned the case over. No the M54 doesn't have lights all the way, neither does the A5 to Shrewsbury. My worry was he was alleged to have been doing 70 through a 30mph bulit up area. Thats motorway speeds through housing areas.

Living in Telford where these crimes were comitted I was horified to read the case last year. He was doing 70 in a 30 mile zone and 159 on the A5/M54. What if some one had been killed? If he needs to try out his suped up car, let him go to a race track NOT out town! :tsktsk:

Had a test drive of an IS250SE last week and took it back after 3 hours. Notchy gear-box in 2nd,4th and 6th and skittish ride over bad bits of road. Wife not impressed either so she found a low milage IS200SE to replace my existing one. Great car- decisions-decisions. Not a very good trade in so just asked what a basis IS250 would cost even thought we were both dissapointed with first impreessions, and we have been waiting a long time for thismodel. How about an IS250Sport says the salesman, better box, 18" wheels, stiffer suspension, just happen to have one here. Now i thought they were not being released until April, but he had one in the showroom and they are putting it on the road and we will get a test drive this saturday. Is this a first?

Sounds just like my four year old IS200, its been a bit sluggish starting the last week and I was thinking about a new battery. Will it cause any probs with the alarm, keys or tracker when I change it? Any reccomendations of make to repalce with? :D

I'd have one if only Marion would hurry up and save for me!

Well you wont have long to wait as The Daily Telegraph reports that the new IS200 Salloon wil be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in March.

Oil, what is Oil??? Had the car three years now, every service the nice people at Lexus Wolverhampton give us a spare Litre of oil , Castrol GTX Magnasomething this year. We now have three unopened bottle of oil in the garage. Yes I do know where the filler is :P

I also found Lexus very expensive, so I settled for Morethan £320 protected for life!?

I am thinking of changing my IS200 for a 300 as its three years old soon, they are lending me one when mine is in for service and MOT. Is the extra litre worth it, it doesnt sem to make much difference to the 0-60 time!

As a Scotland supporter I get used to losing- so why can't you :P I let two England supporters watch the match on my tele, gave then beer, and they still moaned when I cheered the two gaols, I wonder why? :o

From what I see every day around Shropshire, the police aren't doing anything about modified plates, not that it should be encouraged ;)

OK all, had a quick play. VM is installed and all options are on. Example is on the Motorola site, trying to download a manual, the link button says "javscript:go()" and nothing happens.
