  1. have you got some new round wheels Steve or are you still on the square ones?
  2. the pcd is 5x 114.3 The bore is 60.1 The polished wheels look good on Canter's IS. Anybody else want a set?
  3. This is a 3S-GE engine not the 1G-FE IS200 engine. Redline is higher.
  4. I think most people have that problem ;)
  5. No not really, maybe the idle was a little more stable. I think the biggest difference that people have noticed is gear change with e-shift so may be worth doing on IS300, GS300 and GS400. Most people disconnect their battery when installing the kits and notice a difference afterwards - trouble is you cannot tell if the differences come from the kit or from the ECU reset
  6. This is where my kit came from although it was custom made due to the battery location being different on LHD/RHD models: http://www.teckkits.com/
  7. Spoiler was added after and so the rear window brake light was disconnected. A chip can be upto 10mm diameter within the drivers immediate line of sight zone and up to 40mm within the rest of the wipers area and pass an MOT Stone chips need to be cut/polished down level - will look much better then Sounds like the wings need a good 3 stage polish.
  8. I don't think you can use anything but the original Lexus discs which are made by Aisin.
  9. May just have been a bad battery. Have you tried another one?
  10. You need to get the error code read by your dealer to find out what the fault is - otherwise we are just guessing what the problem is although it sounds like a problem with the throttle.
  11. There would be something like 0.3s difference between 0-60 and 0-62 if there is no extra gearchange is needed. The TTE supercharger is around £3000 + fitting.
  12. Toyota have TRD and TTE. Most mod parts for the 430 are in the US as that is the biggest market.
  13. See if the warning light on the dashboard comes on when the boot is open. If it does then the bulb is gone. If it doesn't then the sensor is at fault.
  14. So will it be even better if it was more stiff? Time to get the TRD ones??
  15. They look a bit like OZ Hydra http://www.ozracing.com/shared/car/classic/02_big.jpg
  16. I think screwfix sell G3. T-Cut is fine although it can leave very fine scratch marks - so go over it with scratch-x after.
  17. Try using superunleaded petrol and see if it still knocks. FYI - vvt-i doesn't kick in
  18. I think some of the LCs have 6 stud wheels?
  19. The 4 cylinder engine is a newer design and has had more R&D into it which is why it produces more power. Most of it's power however is high up the rev range and therefore is not really 'Lexus' The 6 cylinder engine is used in it's market because it is smooth however it is poor on fuel and emissions and as with most small 6 cylinder engines is not good on low down torque.
  20. Four, as in four cylinder? Surely not! Lexus must never launch a car less than 6 cylinders! I suppose it'll just be the engine in the Avensis? Haven't Lexus already said they don't want to put in a 4 cylinder diesel. I thought there was talk about using the 3.0 BMW engine which is excellent.
