Chris, hello, are you still there? Your keyboard is not typing anything.

The YouTube guy with the same problem as me said a battery change fixed everything even though his original 12 volt battery appeared fine (which mine appears fine as well) and my car friend has suggested that 350amps left on my battery for my hybrid car seems low. So that settles it I’ll buy a new battery. it’s been 3 years since I last changed it and Lexus did say to me it would last 2-3 years.

Considering sale of RCF and switch to….
Rob RCF replied to RCF Fan's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
It's not quite as practical as an RCF, but depends what you need really. I go shopping in it, I've been on week long holidays with it and had room to spare. You get a front and rear boot so it's more practical than an MX-5 or S2000. - Today

Yeah, they are extremely expensive for what they are. A cheaper option is to import them from Japan for half the price, including shipping. 04946-30110 Regardless, I'm not sure they'll cure a "clunk" type of sound, the shims mostly help with rattles or squealing.

IS250 Towbar
MrTrendizzle replied to Zuke's topic in Lexus IS 250 / Lexus IS 250C Club / Lexus IS 220D & IS 200D Club
You just made me check my logbook and go "Hmph" It does indeed say under vehicle details O.1 1500kg braked and O.2 560kg unbraked. The problem with this is the MAM is 2055kg while the Kerb weight is 1710kg so surely adding a trailer+load of 1500kg goes way above the MAM unless MAM is for the car itself and i can still add 1500kg bringing the complete combined weight of car+trailer+load to 3555kg. I assume this is the case. -
LBX Passenger Seat Comfort
Expatma replied to Expatma's topic in Lexus LBX Owners Club - The All-New Lexus LBX
Going to take a 2 hour test drive to determine once and for all whether the passenger seat can be adjusted so as to be comfortable for my wife. if it can then likely we will buy, if not then back to the research for alternatives! -
Well I got a quick reply from LV basically stating that the LBX was not yet added to their approved list so they could not offer insurance on it! When I asked when/if it would be added got typical fob off reply that they won’t know until it is added! So no further forward at all. I must wonder why it is taking insurance companies so long to add the LBX to their approved lists, perhaps Lexus are just not big enough to gain any importance in expediting their analysis?

Android auto disconnecting
Richolf replied to Richolf's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h Club
That’s was my view, something either behind or at the other end. It doesn’t disconnect if I waggle the cable. Unfortunately not a second one as only one is linked to AA -
this true and what's the process of replacing is it a hub off job?

AWD/4WD v 2WD What are the advantages?
my quest replied to Sgelten's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
I think the point about whether the UX is a 'family' car revolves not around how many people you can get inside the car but rather what you can get in the boot when you have four people inside the car! If you have two kids in the back and are going on holiday for a week, where are you going to stow all the gear and suitcases? It ain't all going to go in the boot! And don't forget the pushchair and a highchair as well every time you visit the in-laws..! That's why, IMHO, it won't work for a lot of one-car families. I used to be able to leave my golf bag and golf cart (trolly) in the boot of my RX450h all the time. Having down-sized to my UX - which I love - it's a different story and the rear seats have to go down every time. I knew that would be the case and accepted it. -
Error during map update os NX450h
RXtoNX replied to Pat_D's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h Club
Unless things have changed in the past month map updates currently can only be done by the dealer. They are FOC but it means that the dealer will need your car for 2 hours. Had ours done 2 months ago & dealer provided us with a courtesy car for the day. -
oem is gonna be Denso.

Looking to buy a 2010+ ISF
RichGS11 replied to samplify's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Simply put, there isn't a market for the F range in the UK. The reason they don't sell quick, is because they're not suaght after. Sadly anyone with visions of a £30k+ ISF selling quickly is living in the US market. The UK is just not the place for the ISF (well not yet). It doesn't matter what you have, only another enthusiast or someone that knows what they want, will go for it. To other people it's an over priced V8 that is not desirable. I wish it wasn't! -

Upping the tyre widths
jeffrosie6 replied to BenH22's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Mines fitted with RCF alloys and offset is a bit more aggressive. 255 Front and 275 Rear. Rears slightly rub, so will be raising the rears slightly. And as Ivacerk said, these cars look better with beefier tires. -
I’d be giving my dealership a call soon as I need to decide whether I am going to return the car to them or not at the end of the term in July. —C

The car went back in to the tyre place this morning for the sensor replacement (apologies Don as i couldn't get to Manchester for the pre diagnosis). After fitment they plugged in the laptop in order to register the new sensor. Their system said all good as it showed a green tick, but the car appears to have different ideas. I now have this on screen? The fitter said that it may cancel out after maybe a few miles .... but nothing as yet

I have a 2015 RC-F but no idea if TPMS is similar on all models so I posted here to maybe have more chance of responses. I had a slow puncture in a rear wheel, the air was leaking from where the valve meets the rim, I took it to a tyre place & they couldnt get the TPMS off because it was seized & was going to break, so they asked me what I wanted to do, I said it was ok to replace it, so they broke it off & put a new TPMS sensor on that wheel, cloned the ID etc. I drove away after but I noticed none of the tyre pressures were showing on the dash, the TPMS light wasnt on, I thought it might take a few miles to recalibrate or something, but it never came back. I read the manual, did the turn on the ig, press the TPMS button under the dash, it flashed 3 times & then waited a few minutes, turned it off & back on again, didnt work. Plugged in the diag tool, it shows all 4 sensor ID's & all sensors are reading a pressure. Took it back to the tyre place, they spend 2 hours messing with it, resetting it all etc & gave up, refunded me for the job. Anyone else had these issues, does it HAVE TO BE an OEM Lexus TPMS sensor? any ideas before I get ripped off by Lexus dealerships? would TPMS be covered by that "Relax" warranty? So to sum it up, no TPMS light is on, all values on the dash are -:--, all tyre pressures are good, I did the reset procedure from the manual & all 4 TPMS sensors are transmitting & reading values when viewing them on the diag tool. Anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks.
