BMW's getting stuck in a ford.

It's about time that the Rozzers clamped down on this dangerous activity. Some innocent bystander is bound to get wet at some point. I was even more delighted to see two patrol cars there. Crime must be rampant at Rufford!

... and yet, they ignored the pavement parking. Even joined in at one point.

Which is not a problem outside of London. Still not stopping people for being stupid.

This is turning into theater especially with 2 police cars there to increase the spectacle.

Does anyone know where i can get tickets and at what price? Do they have a website?

My local ford is nothing compared to this. Yet i still get calls from people asking for a tow out of the river. I left my number on a post saying "Stuck? Want to dry off? Call XXX" My little 1.2l Punto tugged cars and vans out of our little ford. Always get a thanks even tho i just move them out of the ford and out the way so others can still get through.

The locals council should install a "Pay per winch" where just like a jet wash you put in a few quid, attach the hook and press a button to move your car out the water and back on to dry land. I bet they would make a killing.

I like they’ve closed it “until a longer term solution can be found.”

It’s been like that for decades and apart from a few extra signs nothing has been done to improve the situation. Add in the cutbacks to council budgets and the solution will be to leave it closed.

Missed opportunity. They should have built a hotel, 2 restaurants , 4 pubs and a rollercoaster next to it. This would have brought the money in big time. Everybody loves to see Scheissewagons in trouble.
