you have to buy over the phone mate - give them a call tomorrow.

You ring DVLA "Central" in Swansea to buy the reg, but visit your LOCAL DVLA office for the form filling ins and signings ;)

Just got mine from Northern Numbers and I believe it was cheaper than other sites and as the same one listed at DVLA all service and paperwork inc. No trips out to offices etc.

I spent 3 hours checking prices and available nos off sites and half the graphics on sites just dont work. Several other sites said it was no longer available too!

check on 3 legal typefaces and 1 legal spacing arrangement.

If you want dodgy spacing etc. carry a spare set in the trunk for when you are busted explain that they are "show plates"

The double sided tape does not work. My new ones fell off after the frost the other day! Now I drilled and screwed them.

Beware where the screws have to go too . They have to be the same colour as where they are drilled through.

My friend bought a GRC no. only to receive dozens of parking tickets. It was ilegally plated on a Greek embassy car and they refused to give it up. DVLA had to negociate to buy it back off him. He refused until they threatened to take hime to court.
