well i went through an agent who got me a policy with norwich union £475 fully comp so i was quite impressed its a drop of £125 from last year

I guess you have tried the online sites such as www.confused.com ?

i ended up getting the best insure price from direct line for my IS

when i changed to the GS adrian flux was very good but Lexus's own insurence came out best for me.

you really have to shop around

Try churchill, or elephant.co.uk, they have been quite good for me compared to a lot of others.

if I recall correctly, you are 21 with 0 NCB and an expensive at fault claim last year?

not being horrible mate - but you are ******.

you are going to pay high insurance premiums for at least the next three years.

if its any consolation, after those three years, you should also get a nice reduction for going over 25 :)

Yes i think i have the worst circumstances

I'm 21

I have no claims bonus

I hit a third party vehicle, and wrote him off

3 years and 9 months to go and 25 plus insurance awaits me :D

I'm counting the minutes.............

PS Considering the nature of my crash, I realise Lexi are built like tanks

Thing I hate is that my sister (who is 21 - passed 1 year ago 0NCB) can get insured on my car for slightly less then me!! Just because she is a woman!!

I also hate that STUPID Diamond Insurance advert they have on TV. Bunch of women discussing how bad and stupid men's driving is and how Diamond is so good because they give you cheaper car insurance because you are a women!!

If it was the other way round I bet their would have been complaints!!

I am 56 with low insurance, you are 21 ono with high insurance! If I could be 21 again I would gladly pay the premium and live life to the max. :winky:

But wot does she drive? Tried "Diamond" for my Mrs on the IS and they did'nt accept mods and we are talking about lowering springs here not a s/c :D

Little women in small pugs who do about 2 miles a day dropping the kids at school, picking them up and blocking the :tsktsk: ing roads. Give em cheap insurance provided they don't drive between the hours of 08:00-09:03 and 13:30 to 17:00 :D that's wot I say

Off top of head cant remember how much i pay for my insurance and due to go up with mods that are ready to go on. Over 3k though. Although strangely enough i only pay 2k on the s13..no logic.

LowRed if your not willing to pay the insurance you shouldnt be allowed to drive it, buy a banger and leave lex in gargae,till you can afford, or take the mods off.

I wouldnt be happpy in the slightest if you pranged me.

I appear to be hoovering at the £500 a year (protected) for my cars...had a 330Ci BMW and it was same price even though 2 groups up on the RX. Think having a 27 year old wife is what kills my premiums, have already warned her that she's probably coming off insurance this year as she harldy ever drives my car..

I pay about £600/700 on a 10 month accelerator policy - I'm 30 and have 2 years NCB and have my husband on the policy too.

Was looking forward to hitting 30 and getting cheaper insurance but it's not dropped significantly yet!!!
