Need some advice please.

My friends Scooby got attacked by a crazy yoof last night.....with a permanant marker pen.

Not sure why he decided to scribble all over a silver car in black marker but he did. Perhaps it was the Citroen advert that inspired him to act ? :crying:

Anyway, does anybody know of a way to remove the pen marks ? Without damaging the paint work.

Many thanks.

I dont know if a paint cleaner like the Meguires stage one would rip that off - you can buy that from some Halfords now so might be an idea?

Otherwise maybe try a bit of T Cut on a small area, something abrasive maybe?

panel wipe might do it, go to your local bodyshop and ask them to try some on there, wont damage your paint at all and should remove it.

if not try a t-cut type polish, or even a 2000+ grit wet and dry with a bit of meguires quick detailer as lube?

the best way to remove permanent marker is use hair laquer/spray, you will be amazed at how quickly it removes it, spray onto cloth, one or two wipes and the marker will be gone. it's so impressive, it's worth writing on something just to see how quickly it comes off......i must get out more
