Does this mean our gas guzzling IS/GS/LS's will hold onto their value? I think not, unless the gov't drop the decision to base VED on C02 emissions...........

..........oh the credit crunch isn't doing anyone any favours is it.

I'm glad the supermarkets in their fight with each other are bringing petrol prices down :)

Slightly :offtopic: but the Esso and BP nearest me are still selling unleaded for 109.9 (and the forecourts are as busy as ever) yet I pay the same at a Shell a mile away for V-Power (using the Shell Citi card).............makes no sense to me

  • 2 weeks later...
we were down to 102.9 at morrisons yesterday

Don't quote me on this :offtopic: but i have heard from a few people that morrisons petrol is c**p, I tried 20 quids(Unleaded) worth in the company car and found the car to be quite sluggish.

Tend not to use supermarket fuel in the Lexus!.

Any input on this???

My partner works for Morrisons and was saying that they have Texaco tankers in all the time and they even stock texaco oils so probably the same fuel as texaco garages at a guess??

Mine seems to run very well on Sainsbury's super unleaded compared to everywhere elses and at £102.9 not a bad price at the moment :driving:

Drove past local ASDA petrol station this morning, unleaded now 94.9, but OPEC are meeting soon to discuss cutting back production, meaning fuel prices going back up again :(
