Well that's an easy one ....

What better birthday treat could any girl have than to be taken to JAE for the day.

Spice it up a bit by sorting her a 'sit' in the IS430.... Maybe the monster too....

She'll be well chuffed... and able to brag about it to all her mates :whistling:

Right - sod the F1 - I'll be there (So long as no-one has any objections to 3 Honda cars coming along....)!!!! Just had a FANTASTIC track day (which also involved a certain Lexus!), and feel like a cruise out tomorrow just enjoying the wind in my hair.

TOC out numbered by Hondas :crybaby:

LOC has been going a lot longer than TOC but was the turnout so small in your first year because i think it is starting to get beyond a joke. There was a thread on TOC moaning about the lack of northern meets,i have pm'ed 17 members who are within a 30mins drive of lotherton hall and only 2 have replied,1 can't make it-fair enough, the other has just sold his car and picking up his new celica today but if he can make it he will.

Any ideas what the problem is?

come come now Ultraviolet!

You know very well that the Track Day involved TWO lexi! little and large both got a spanking.

Tyres are almost back to normal now. shame! They looked so good after that secont session. I would have liked to take them off and frame them. and notably so VERY little brake dust on the wheels... (expert use of the anchor pedal).

See you soaks tomorrow. still unsure about what car ? if the bleed valve thing will fix then I might come roofless... of course the weather is a factor to. now I know where that rad bleed valve is I can do a real good flush on her too... quick clean up and then ON WITH THE WARRANTY CLAIM!

Loz :whistling:

Super day - again

The weather was hot and mostly sunny.

Sorted Avensis - love the colour of your car. Can't wait to see it all finished

Maz - you could have joined in on the end you know..... :winky:

Matt - I'll fill you in on all the bits you missed tomorrow

Neil - where were you? We missed you and Joe - Matt even brought Zach, thinking he'd have a playmate.

Great meet folks,

Lotherton hall was nice and sunny dispite my being there :whistling:

Great to see old friends and new. the only sad thing was that despite enquiring after there whereabouts I was still not able to meet the lone ranger :P :P :P

Now when it got interesting was when we high tailed it down to stoke. Stoke was NOT its usual self. after securing some direction from a local shorty :D we popped up the circuit driving real sensible like  and noticed an increased police presence. that police presence was amplified by a ridiculous magnitude before long and ANYONE parked on the wrong fag but was nicked! we saw at least 10-15 cars getting done so we parked up unobtrusivly and wandered around on foot. No sure how many old friends I bumped into but I seemed to know everyone from those sat in the back of the feds T5 to the young honies in the bus stop. was quite nice to be considered a regular! Sorted Avensis, Chris Shipley, Zee and myself just mosied around gentley till we found a safe meet spot. did a little syncronised Ice fest. nearly got our Jeans turned into shorts buy some crazy dude with a flame thrower bolted onto the back of his Escort convertible!

All in all, a greart day out. I wonder if they know what they are missing in the south....? :whistling:

Loz :zee:

Ps. Obviously the 'fro made a few guest apperances! but i never saw anyone hanging the back end out on the roundabouts.... :shutit: :whistling:

Zee took some footage ( not in his a s s , dispite subsequent conversations....)

so there should be some appearing soon ( hint hint ) but I think they were pretty static ones...

We needed a discrete cam corder for the Stoke chapter. the amount of grief the feds were dolling out was very impressive, they had the whole situation contained. it did actually show that if they wanted to stop the sillyness, it was well within their gift.

THe more I think about the more I am glad that they were there though. I guess periodically it helps to maintain the sanity. the guy who flipped his 'lude two weeks back would not have done so maybe had been concious of a strong police presence. I do think they were on a zero tollerance mission last night but it was probly designed to get rid of those "loppys" and keep it sane for the street legal amongst us. I have to say it was great drving round past all the coppers in a boggo standard luxury exec. they KNEW we were legit.

Loz  :zee:

Thanks once again for a great day out.

Didn't get in until 2.30am as scarborough seafront was still going when i got back from stoke but the cars was nowhere near stoke quality.

My highlight must have been when that family walked by and said it must be the Toyota Owners Club :P

Running a close second was the lone ranger gag from Loz.

Young Zach has a future as a stock car driver, excellent handling for such a young fella, just when you think you have dodged him it's straight into reverse to catch you unawares.

Sammy some damn fine hondas you brought along and can't wait until the weekend to see some more.

Shame about the heavy handed approach at stoke but at least we found somewhere in the end.Had to keep an eye on the flames from that escort parked behind me,really glad it wasn't that one with the proper flamer kit as i wouldn't have any paint left the way that was blasting out.

See you all at the weekend,Ken

Fantastic meet once again. Great to see the "regulars" and the newbies. Weather held out, as did the humour for the day....

Stoke was certainly different, but enjoyable none the less - it was the comapny that did it! I have plenty of pictures, and will upload them this evening.

See you all on Friday/Saturday/Sunday!
