Eibach's Fitted Today

I finally got my hands on the Group Buy Eibach springs and spent the day fitting them today. With the help of a mate it only took us nearly 9 hours to fit, yes 9 long gruelling hours :duh: Both of us had not done this kind of work before and were well pleased once we had completed it.

I am now sitting 30mm lower and I must say it looks superb. Have lost a little on the comfort, but the handling, especially round corners is fantastic. It looks great too. If you're wondering whether to lower your car or not, I would recommend that you got for it. :winky:

I read somewhere on this forum that you should wait for about 2 weeks before getting the allignments checked. This gives it enough time for the new springs to bed in.

Should I get the alignment sorted today or wait for a bit? :duh:

All I know is Mark @TDi was going to get mine done before I picked it uo after he did mine.......he ran out of time so I got Lexus Bromley to do it.

They said the alignment was way out.........however the car felt 100% OK........

Before the springs were fitted, the rear of the car seemed to look higher than the front. Since having the Eibachs fitted the car now seems to look alot even. So to answer your question, the front of the car doesn't seem any lower than the rear now, but it is visually lower all-round (contrary to what some of my mates said )

The ride is a little firmer than before , but I think it's still perfectly comfortable. :D

looks good! wait about 2weeks and then u better go get your alignment and cambers adjusted so u dont get alignement wear on your tyres.
