Morning all,

The horn on the steering wheel in the IS200.....should I be able to sound it by pressing anywhere on the centre of the steering wheel or is it just where the symbol is below the central part of the wheel.

I ask because I can only sound mine when I press where the symbol is and I find that position awkward especially when turning.

Am I making sense :duh:

And no I'm not a driver always on the horn :winky:

Cheers all.

The sound isn't my issue its actually using it! Does anyone else have the same problem as I described above

No can't say as I do

me neither, but :offtopic: in my opinion a vehicle horn should match the car, do you really think that the IS should have a poxy 'mi mi' sound or a more defining MIII MIII.

u should be able to push the hornpad on the 9 o clock, 3 o clock, and 6 o clock positions. u can even push it on the 12 o clock position. its best to push it on the sides, as the hornpad cover is mounted on the middle with springs on the sides.

its a toyota thing :crying:

the horn on my hi-ace sounds like a pedal car horn, its almost embarrasing to use it

i find with most steering wheel horn positions that unless you press them in the right place they dont wanna know, its just working out where, then theres no probs
