  1. Oh right :P So can this be disabled with the key fob on the MK1?... like Austin said, when the kids are left in the car and you don't want it to go off ← Yes. After you've pressed the lock button, press it again and you'll notice the indicators will flash slightly longer than the first press and this disables the internal sensor.
  2. Personally I wish it had the all lock/open button on just the driver's side.
  3. The rear lights are similar in shape to new BMWs.
  4. Second time for both car and bike. Passed car in 1999 and bike in 2004.
  5. Once every two weeks and I give it a good polish 3-4 times a year.
  6. There could be some hope: http://www.xbox365.com/news.cgi?id=GGurPdLrGr08171253
  7. I'm disappointed with the lack of a standard internal hard drive, this will encourage developers to make games without the need for it and I thought the hard drive was a great feature of the Xbox. I wasn't convinced about buying this at launch and am even less likely to now. I think I'll wait for the price to drop.
  8. I've heard of lots of people upgrading their own hard drives and I might do the same once the initial 12 months has passed.
  9. I've wondered about the Series I Sport tyre pressures too because I've always put 32 psi in and found that my last pair of rears had worn down the middle as if over inflated. I've dropped them down to 31 psi to see how it feels and might go down to 30 psi, but I don't want to end up going the other way and being under inflated. Does anyone know what the tyre pressures should be for 8.5" front and 10" rear?
  10. Nice tidy job, looks good. There's one I noticed that the spell checker wouldn't pick up on because although the word in question has been misspelled, it spells a valid word. On the homepage: Don't forget to view out work! I just thought you might like to know.
  11. I haven't seen those. If the car has been sat outside in the heat for most of the day how soon should the air blow cold if you turn the air con on straight away?
  12. That would be great. What if he finds problems, is he able to fix them? I'm annoyed to have the feature and to have wasted my money on it as it's not working properly, especially in this heat. The work was done over a year ago so I don't think I can take it back to the dealer.
  13. Firstly I apologise for digging up an old thread, but it's the most appropriate place to post this. It's now just over a year since I had my air con recharged by the local dealer and I have made sure that I use it on occasions to maintain the charge, but when I used it on one of our recent very hot days it doesn't feel very cold and definitely not as cold as air con should be. They claimed to have pressure tested it before it was recharged, so would air con run out of gas so soon? How/where else can I get it checked?
  14. At the moment I'm running Falken FK-451 all round without any problems. I have had Falken tyres on previous cars without problems and have found them to be a good quality tyre at a good price and they wear well.
  15. Once a car is worth less then £10,000 the general consensus is it's not worth dealer servicing, I just need to find a good independent that I can trust.
  16. That's useful to know. I wish mine had them and have always wondered why they were never fitted as standard on all GS models.
  17. I didn't know you could get them. Are they from an Aristo or aftermarket and how easy are they to fit?
  18. My 96 Sport failed its MOT on the front lower joints a couple of months ago, it had around 82,000 miles on it at the time. I ordered them through Lexus dealer and got 10% Gold discount, then my Dad and I fitted them ourselves.
  19. How does that promote safety? Most people can't/will not be able to check everything on their car that will be tested to make sure it's okay, so get scammed for more money. I'm meticulous with checking my car, but it recently failed on the front lower ball joints without any warning, so I get penalised for something I had no idea about despite how careful I am with maintaining my car. (If only I had a decent sized garage with ramps at home.)
  20. I saw a trailer for it on my R1 Assault on Precint 13 (2005) DVD and as I like Jet Li I'll probably check it out.
  21. I used EBC pads and discs in the past without any problems and was thinking about putting a set on the front of my GS when the time comes to replace the stock parts.
  22. I like the last two generations and have contemplated buying one numerous times.
  23. Well done to the winners, can't complain about those prizes at all. Clearly I should have won though, it's a fix! :winky:
