well here goes not really felt strong enough to talk about this i am the oldest of three and have to be the strongest to help my mum brother and sister.

i got married to my stunning wife on the 08/08/08 i was the happyest man alive the day went amazing weather the familys and my dad was so proud he didnt sit down all night i think he danced with everyone the day after me and the wife went down to see my mum and dad we stayed for a while talkin about the weddin when my dad got up and hugged me and said how proud he was of me.

8.00 on the 10th i got a phone call from my mum telling me my dad had died in his sleep!!!he was 56 and their still is no cause!!!

to rub salt in the wound we had to cancel the honey moon because of the funeral date and me and my brother and i were carrying the cofin! The insurance were not goin to give us the money back!!!!!£5000 we had to get lawyers involved before they gave us it back.

the reason for writing this is tomorrow i'm goin to avimore with the family to scatter my dads ashes as he loved it up their and writing this is kind of makin it easyer for me. so if any ones out and see's a green is200 reg L8XSS tomorrow on the roads give a flash and a wave it'll put a smile on my face.

cheers all!!

sorry to hear this mate,i know exactly how you feel about being the eldest and having to stay strong for the sake of everyone in the family,my mother passed away on the 1/03/07 in her sleep with a massive heart attack she was 48 exactly the same age as her dad from exactly the same thing, she had never had any major illness in her life what so ever.

keep your chin up and by doing this will hopefully bring you some closure and help you deal with it a lot better.

So sorry to hear about your loss. After such a happy times, sometimes you wonder why these things happen, especially so suddenly. It must be extremely difficult for you and your family. They say time is a healer and i hope the saying is true for you!

Hard to take at any time but with the wedding it must be especially gutting for you and the family.

All the best for the final send off in Aviemore, there is no finer place to be than the Highlands.

Thoughts are with you.
