ON when the wife and bairn is in the car. OFF when I'm driving by myself.

TRC only stops your wheels from spinning in a straight line. If you are coming off a bend and put your foot down in the wet you'll find your ****-end overtaking you which can be quite a scary feeling... so even with TRC on in the wet you still need to be careful with a rear-wheel drive car!

i have an auto, and i find it almost impossible to spin the wheels at all in the dry, so although TRC stays on, its never used
