Picking up my IS200 Sport on Friday from Lexus Leeds.

Think I got a good deal:

X-reg (Dec 2000)

Royal Sapphire Sport

20000 miles

£15000 (got £500 off)

Anyway, just waiting for my Gold membership to come through so I can get involved.

I'm 30. Have been looking at the IS200 for a while, and nearly went for one before i chose the Beemer a couple of years ago. Decided I had to get the Beemer though as I wanted have owned and driven one, and if I left it much longer they would have been too old for me to consider.

yeah I thought so too.

They had a Y reg Sport, exactly the same, but with 16k miles last week.

I took it out for a test drive, and was ready to buy it, when the sales blokey says "sorry, we should have told you, but it's going to Lexus auction tomorrow. I can't sell it to you, so you'll have to wait to see if it goes in the auction". Apparently, they had had it up at £17995 because of the low mileage, but it hadn't sold, so they dropped it to £15995, and then decided to put it into the dealer auction about 20 mins before I had called to arrange the test drive.

Unfortunately it went to another dealer in the auction, but I spotted the one I ended up buying, and its only 4 months older.

reason i asked mate is i use esure insurance online ,my sport costs 232 quid i`m 34,you may want to get a quote :)
