    Garmin or Tomtom, Lexus sat nav is a PITA. On route to my sons house it diverts me through a council estate before putting me back on the main road I was directed off. The stupid thing does it regularly.

    Can't you get under the car and clean the springs up with a small wire brush, then give them a coat of rust inhibitor? I'd be surprised if it's anything more than surface rust.

    Racing would invalidate your insurance if proven, Traffic violations do not always have anything to do with the posted speed limits. You could be doing 20 mph in a 60 zone and still be driving dangerously, without due care et al.

    Surely he could have asked DVLA to do a roll back of his driving license record which would have shown his entitlements.

    I heard of all the hassle with records being incorrect on renewed licences. I have copies of mine and the wife's license "screen printed" directly from the .gov website on my computer.

    A full UK licence means you have passed your driving test. Check your license on the .gov website to make sure they have your correct details and that it shows you have a full license.

    I would imagine that's recent in anyone's book, it's only a few months old. New for Lexus I would opine.

    I don't think you're supposed to put your car into neutral when at traffic lights, holding it on the brake, while in drive, is quite acceptable.
