Mi Mad,

Congrats on the purchase. Sounds like a very good price if you got it from a Lexus dealer. :)

Welcome to the club anyway.

Rear wheel drive cars can all give way depending how hard you go around a corner... :duh:

Thats easy....................................

Ease off the throttle until you are used to a RWD car!!!!

The IS can be very twitchy in the wet, especially if you have a heavy right foot!

Welcome to the club both of you!!

One more thing....................

GO GOLD!!!! :D

Nice one Maddy!  :D

Wonder how long until you catch the modding bug?

coincidently......i was just thinking....maybe getting the front drivers and passengers window tinted....alloys are ok not too bad....being abit tail happy might start thinking about lowering/strut braces (i thinnk i';m right in saying that if i do the stut/lowering mod it will help the cornering but you will loose the ride quality)...

the ride will become more communitive....as in you will be able to "Feel" what the car is doing better.

i would suggest getting anti roll bars aswell!! possibly the best suspension upgrade you can do!!

i'm not looking to go start really messing about with it too much....

the basic setup looks kinda awright for me....

a nice simple set up

TTE springs or Eibach

TTE anti roll bars

Cusco front strut bar...

how do i find out the prices of these 3 items?...it might sound abit stupid but what do the anti roll bars do?.....are they different to the strut bars?

strut bars tie the suspension turret tops together and firm up the front of the car ahead of the windscreen (reducing twist)

Strut Bar

anti roll bars reduce the amount of body roll , bigger anti roll bars, reduce roll more

@monster-matt

what i was honestly going to do first was some kinda induction kit under the bonnet...something simple and easy to start of with.....am i right in thinking that the induction kit is that long metal cylindrical tube ( with several bends in it) with a cone shaped filter at the end of it?

The TTE anti roll bars are adjustable with 3 settings

Stiff

Stiffer

Stiffest

I have mine on the middle setting at the moment but want to change it to the stiffest - which one is this, the setting towards the front, or to the rear of the car?
