Sad News Finally Arrived

After months and months of changing their minds and trying different options my company have now come to a conclusion of down scaling the whole job operation and are closing our branch putting us all out of a job

They have other branches which we can apply to work at but limited amount jobs to the amount of people applying

So i've taken their crap redundency package and now looking for a new job so if anyone has any jobs going in the far south of kent give me a shout or just anything that i might consider as jobs around here are hard to find

This also puts a doubt on JAE as money will be tight next month so i might not be there and if things get worst the lex will have to go

Anyway my chin is held high and will have to colour my skin and not speak english and have a trip down the dole office

Andy

That's a bit harsh

To be fair its not that harsh. All the jobless bums we (us tax payers) pay for. Not being funny but I agree.

I feel for all of you. I was out for 8 months in 2000 (I only have 35 years in computing to fall back on), then got a good (?) job in a £30m turnover company that was closed by its Yank owners last summer.

I now work in a small (5 emps) company in Maidstone.

So far ---- So good

Terrible news Andy, almost been there myself last year but just escaped.

Stay positive and come up with a short term set of goals and objectives for the next month and then get around to doing them! I guarantee I'll boost your self confidence. :D

Hey you get to meet all those people shuffling paper at the job centre and paid with your taxes too. They'll get to demand proof that you're looking for work, that you haven't been working to justify the money that THEY PAY YOU.
