As I sit here reflecting upon what a fab year it has been, I realised how much LOC has done for me.

Bought the GS off the forum (Way 2 go ClaireG) :D :D

Did my first ever 1/4 mile run @ Santapod (Marcus was there to give me tips) :o

Had the best driving experience ever on the RING (Bazza, Razrankin and Sanj got me into that) :winky:

Got a new centre cap for free when mine was nicked (cheers Mat Mcnally)

Managed to get my OBDII codes read for peanuts (ur da don, skeet94)

Spent the entire summer trying to overtake Scaryface :shutit:

Got my front strut brace fitted at JAE (ryo, exobex, yemgi u guys r tops)

Got my pimpin aint eazy sticker from JAE (can't remember who encouraged me to get that - might have been RazRankin) :P

Got an excuse to leave work early on the first Tuesday of every month (Ace cafe meet)

Lots of advice and ideas for pimpin my ride (everyone on the forum really)

Got the geometry 100% perfect (Dr Bones is da guru!)

Somewhere to share my sausage and chrome wheel story

Had the most fun convoying with everyone on the way to JAE, Japfest, Trax etc.

What has LOC done for you in 2006?

I learnt Maneesh is a good listener

and Maneesh should learn not to listen to me when ive had a few

loss of hair :D

you cant blame LOC for that !!

its because you are an old git !! :P

one thing i have learnt is much the same as most other years, that being there are a lot of friendly people in LOC :D

young or old there are no barriers,

sadly i have also learnt that not all people are as friendly as you think they are ;)

Agreed with Nick. Its better than eastenders (not that i watch it).

Taught me that there is a group of bell-ends that inhibit LOC like in every sewer in the world.

Other than that it has helped and hopefully i have provided some help.

Well, LOC has done the following for me

1) Helped me find my wicked GS

2) Gold membership save me over £100 at Lexus!!!

3) Taken me on two wicked trips to the Nurburgring

4) Showed me how much fun racing on a track can be

5) Helped me do little bits to my car that would have cost me money if I had of had to pay someone

6) And best of all, introduced me to a great bunch of people

Prob a few more, all I can remember now

Thanks LOC

It's introduced me to Lexus Hanley, where a service cost £100 less than at Lexus Cardiff!

It's pointed me in the direction of a rather flash numberplate (repeat after me, investment, not squandered... investment, not squandered...)

It's got me sweating like a pig after a gobful of chicken phall in Cheltenham!

It's dragged me to Japfest and JAE for the first time, a chance to place a few more faces to usernames (and then forget them like I usually do).

The great thing at the meetings is that people come from all different backgrounds, some are loaded, some are not, but nobody cares about that anyway!

Hey! You missed off calling me Skelters......

We've all enjoyed reading MANY Maneesh posts on here and realising that he's definitely MR PIMP (or THINKS so! :D )

Really it's all been the joys of a community here, helping each other, joshing, flying insults about.......!

Happy Solstice every one!
