Welll I'd like a track-driving course .... one-to-one instruction with a realy good driver to learn how to drive my car better and faster (and smoother) on track. Would she like the same sort of gift? (Just in case anyone was thinking what they could get this particular girly! :P )

Er, just told my husband he's bought me a sports grill for Christmas (thanks Ardy!)

For your good lady, how about a spa day/manicure/facial/massage/beauty treatment? It's not too often for most women that they get a day like this all too themselves and if you're feeling flush you could always pay for her mum/sister/friend to accompany her! You can normally get vouchers from the local gym, hotel or beauty therapy place (check out the local Yellow Pages) and it tends to be better value for money than Red Letter days.

Or how about something like a nice bracelet or necklace is always good - anything that looks as though you've put a lot of thought into it.
