Hello All, Well im prob one of the newest members seen as ive just got my lexy, so my name is Alan Mullen im 23 (24 next week),i live in Loch lomond bout 30 miles outside Glasgow, im single , no children, pretty lucky so far eh !! i just bought a 2000 is200s in Platinum Ice , totally standard at the moment but wont be for long.

A little bout my past ;

Well i left school at 16 joined the forces and left when i was 21. i then worked with my fathers company as a general manager and ive recently gave it up to combine my hobby with work and become a fitness instructor so as well as free use of gym i see lots of hot girls in skimpy clothing while im working :D , however i dont plan on staying in this profession for long as im planning to join the police next year but thought it would be good to brush up on my skills in dealing with the public more.

I also work a weekend job on the door of a local club so this pays for my sky high insurance and the car which leaves the weekly wage for mods :D :D

As for hobbies , im a gym freak train 6 times a week , not into all that running nonsense though im into weight training , i also do watersports im gettin pretty good on the old wakeboard but my true skills lie in jet skiing so its quite good by only staying 5 minutes from the loch.also into a few other things like pubbing , music and more pubbing .

I seem to be an old b****r for this forum but here goes.....

I'm 52 with a wife, one son (23) and a Lexus IS300 Sportcross (SateNav) to support.

Work for the Navy so commute from Suffolk to Portsmouth on a weekly basis.

IS300 is my second Lex, the IS200 bought from new in 1999 has just been traded in - no problems in 4 1/2 years - only paid for servicing and tyres.

No Mods on the new car - it has everything I want - going like a dream, shame that petrol has just gone up!

Nearly five years a Lex owner and only just found this great site - shame the dealers don't mention it when you buy a car.

I live in the most awful place on earth, Scunthorpe, the mucky dirty old steel town in North Lincolnshire, got my own house which Im doing up to be all minimalist and hyper-modern with loads of stainless steel and gadgets. Girlfriend of nearly 5 years lives with me, as does her son, 16 years just left school, going to college to be a plumber.

finally got round to putting something in here!

I'm Paul (aka Tus), had my Lex for nearly 4 yrs and love it - even after 110,000+ miles it drives great and looks good. I live in Sussex near Haywards Heath with my fiance (ooh, how old-fashioned does that sound eh?!) and work in Bracknell. I'm another IT bod - quite a few of us here it seems!

Great site this and went GOLD a while ago - well worth it and saved loads on servicing at Lexus Brighton (good bunch).

When not driving the Lex I'll mostly be riding my bike. For fear of losing my licence or worse, I deliberately moved away from fast'uns like the Speed Triple and got meself a Harley. With the benefit of hindsight this was an over-reaction, but at least it's comfortable!

I haven't modded the Lex, unless cargo-nets count - although it's getting increasingly difficultto resist after looking at some of the members cars on this site. I have modded bikes in the past tho - if you're interested have a look hereand check out the Suzuki GSX1100G lowrider.

My name is Tom Stacey (duhuh!) I'm 25, live in a mid-essex village with my very lovely and tolerant girlfriend! I work as a Systems Analyst for a University where I've been since I was a student.

I bought my Lex about a week after joining the forums, after I discovered how obsessed you guys all are by Lexus I knew I'd made the right choice!!! :D

Except for a bit of rear suspension rattle, the Lex has been perfect and I'm just getting into modding it now..

In terms of my interests, I like Cars, Computers, Video Gaming (in a big way! - I'm a Bafta Judge for Interactive entertainment :) ) Radio Control Cars, and general gadgetery.

My next purchase: a Toyota Harrier for the missus.

Hi, I'm Jason, 35, married last year to Rachel. Have one son, Scott who's 5.

I work for myself, (for a change not IT), but Food Styling- what is that I hear you ask?? Look in Waitrose Food Illustrated. I'm the one who makes the food sooo pretty for the photographer!!

My wife works for Toyota GB in their finance dept. The plus side is that we get cheaps cars through I got the Lex 4 months ago (currently in the garage 'cos a nice van reversed into it then drove off..) Rachel has a Rav4, which I must say is rather nice- Hard to spot the difference between some of the switches and nobs tho'..

The good thing is we change cars every year, so I thought I might go for an RX next year as the current IS range is looking a little tired now.........

Thats all I can think of, and oh yeah, no mods as the car officially belongs to ToyotaGB.... oh well, the price of cheap motoring!

OK, my turn, only just found this!

I'm Mark I'm 33 and live near Chester. I live with my GF and have no kids.

I'm an IT Project Manager for a Logistics Company (yes ! IT ahhhh!)

The IS200 is my first purchased car after opting out of company car scheme. Have driven a lot of nice cars in the past - A4 & 320D (covering some 240k miles between the 2 since 1998!) My job involves a lot of travelling thus the reason for the speed camera detector..... I have been to almost every county in the UK, and it was my love of driving that I bought the IS200 and I think it's great....

Not really in mods' although I do tend to clean the car too much!

I've had the IS200 for 12 months now when I bought it from Lexus Aberdeen and they delivered it to my house (got a cracking deal on it £1k cheaper than local ).

Now on my 3rd set of alloys, nice though as they look like new!

And finally what do I love most about the car....*** it's hard:-

1) Engine -6 cyl's

2) Heated seats, leather, design ooohhh

3) Stereo

I'm a hotel manager but not working at present as waiting for an operation

Not done any mods yet but as am an ex Subaru owner(3 times) so will be pretty sure to do some soon.

Got myself a bodykit to have put on, and working on the InCarEntertainment... carputer project etc. I miss the power I had in my scoob, so I'm afraid I am going to have to join the dark side at some point and add a Super Charger :) I figured I'd make it stop and go around corners better first though.. so its suspension & brakes first, although if a bargain presents itself...

Married: For 2.5 years to my wife Sam.

Kids: Jamie who is 3.5 years old (born on 01.01.01 - Cool ay!) and Steph who was from Sam's previous, she is now just over 12 years old.

Job: You guessed it, IT Manager for largest entertainment distribution company in the UK (any CD's, DVD's, Computer software found in large supermarkets or high street stores probably came through our place). Been here 12 years - pretty much from school and done several different roles in IT, latest is project management.

Live: In High Wycombe - have been for 4 years and have completely renovated my house, only original things are the outside walls, middle floor and the roof. Everything else is been redone.

Car: IS200 Sport - purchased from new in Dec 2001 after opting out of company scheme. Coming up 3 years old and still love driving and being seen in it which says alot. Having said that, trying to convince myself to not sell it before the warranty runs out. No mods to it cos I can't be bothered to argue with the insurance companies to get insured. But I'd seriously like to stick body skirts on it.

Hobbies: Cleaning the motor (don't enjoy it but car looks cracking when shiny), socialising in my local (about 10 paces from my front door), football (adore Liverpool FC), computers, DIY (although novelty is wearing off).
