    How about using a good soak of WD-40 on the sticky pads. I don't think the fumes are toxic or addictive.

    I'm in and out multiple dealerships on a daily basis and it's the same thing for every make of car ranging from a cheap and cheery Fiat to an expensive Mercedes. New discs and pads are the moneymakers for dealerships now..

    I think the credit card type key is maybe for the US markets.. also driving like nun at times I get around 40mpg on A roads and dual carriageways.

    Yup, plenty of cars imported from Japan that are pretty well recognisable except for the model names. As you say, the traffic is nuts out there, but not quite as bad as Damascus or Cairo.

    When you fit it, just peel back a small amount of the paper covering the sticky pad, enough to be able to get it positioned properly and still be able to gently pull out the paper while keeping the protector in place.

    Good idea provided the retaining clips are long enough to keep them secured to the console.

    Check out the Powermagic Pro, hooks up to the 12v battery and you can adjust it to turn off at a certain voltage so you don't get a flat battery.

    Passengers side footwell, you have to lie on your back looking up with your head in the footwell. The cover pops off easily and also the large trim panel. Simple if you're a limbo dancer 😃

    Had my NX in for a recall a few weeks back and asked them to change the flashes to 5, done free of charge. I think it takes about 10 mins and that includes driving the car into the workshop..

    For the rattle that goes away when the clutch is depressed, you can also try changing the gearbox oil as the gears can also make a slight noise when not under load.

    Bought stuff from this dealer before and all parts were genuine items. One item was damaged in shipping and no problem with an immediate refund..

    You need a ferrite magnet that wraps round the camera cable to cancel out interference on DAB. Maplins do various sizes and strengths for a couple of pounds..

    It's a good idea to take the wheel off every year to clean off the corrosion that builds up between the wheel and hub, I've seen many a mechanic, sorry they're technicians these days, having to take a big soft faced lump hammer to the back of the wheels to free them from the hubs. A coating of Copaslip will usually keep them from seizing up in the future.

    First thing I done was to stow the belt back up into the roof mount out of the way, and so far I've managed to have a max of three passengers.

    Hankook also do self sealing tyres, but I'm not sure what sizes are available. The sidewalls are harder than the standard Hankooks, but no where near as hard as run flats, so at least that's a bit of a bonus when it comes to harsh rides. As Rayaan says, the goo only covers the tread area so the sidewalls are vulnerable.

    Normally I just jump in, stick it in reverse to back out the drive and the engine starts up within about 10 seconds. Today I put it in EV mode, reversed out and drove about 300 yards before the engine started with a message indicating that it started due to excessive throttle position, you have to be extremely gentle with the right foot. The battery level at switch on was about 60% and I would reckon it's about the same level every morning as my daily usage hardly varies.
