  1. Nick, check out this alternative to the original reflector. https://youtu.be/J3kutVQ3R4I
  2. L/H passengers footwell, you need to stick your head in there looking upwards and have your bum and legs hanging out the door.
  3. Might be better to take it on PCP and see what deal you can get. If it's a good discount, pay it off after a couple of months with no penalties.
  4. http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/Store/Search.aspx?SearchTerm=Water+filter Here is a listing for a filter, a bit steep cost wise and I don't know how long they last. They also have a good range of other cleaning/protection products.

  6. Phil, is there not some kind of filter system that you can fit on your hose, similar to the filters they use for household use..
  7. Finally squeezed 40.4 out of mine, but that's driving like a nun..
  8. IS all the way, BMW's are modern equivalent of a Cortina or a Marina..
  9. Pretty easy as you can take a feed from the electrics round the rear view mirror, or if you are fitting one where it's got a parking mode, the cables are easily run under the headlining and in behind the passengers side roof pillar trim and then to the fuse box under the glove box.
  10. Remember to leave the nut on a couple of threads when loosening it, or you'll end up with a sore face..
  11. Depends on what your after. No listing of IS300h or NX on the Amayama site. For the USA dealers, I just searched for parts on the American eBay site, not the .co.uk one.
  12. Plus you can also get Lexus door edge guards and side mouldings to ward off chips and dents.

  13. Paul, here are a couple of pics of the mudflaps I fitted.image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpgimage.jpeg

  14. Front and rear are available from the Lexus eBay site. Fitting them is a doddle, you just need to jack the car up a couple of inches to give you a bit more clearance between the tyre and the body. They are secured with a couple of screws/bolts which are supplied. Should be around £90 for the full set. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/LexusOfficialStore?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
  15. Just had my renewal from Directline, £404, up from £265 on the IS. Ran a new quote on Directline and that came out at £239 ???
  16. Have a look at the pics in my profile, they're not very clear but it'll give you an idea on the side mouldings. For the door edge strips, you cat see them in the pics as they are only about a 1/4" wide and blend in well. Both items are pretty easy to install, all you need is a tape measure. Some masking tape and a rubber hammer. Also check out the official Lexus site on eBay U.K and USA, plus you can view accessories on the US Lexus site.
  17. You can also get colour coded body side mouldings and door edge protectors. Not sure if both are available from Lexus UK or USA dealers.
  18. Try this dealer, I just received some items for my car thru the eBay site. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/belllexusnorthscottsdale?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
  19. You could also go for the clear plastic film..
  20. Have a look at this site for bumper protectors.. http://www.rearguards.co.uk/index.php?app=gbu0&ns=prodshow&ref=RBP729&sid=2ai71u3q0k1059nz6ztpvtlh77946tit
  21. I didn't use the rain sensor for mine, I just tucked the cables in behind the edge of the head cloth and down the L/H roof pillar to reach the fuse box in the PAX footwell. There was enough room for two cables, power and feed from the rear camera. The only place the cables were visible was an inch or two where they crossed from the pillar to the trim below the glovebox.
