  1. They’ve highlighted this one I’ve seen 3 Gsf’s Go off the Lexus site in the last week or so......ignoring all the usual hater comments, looking forward to the prices of these and RCF to continue to fall 😉 https://www.pistonheads.com/regulars/ph-spottedykywt/lexus-gs-f-spotted/37285 Big Rat

  2. You pull out and remove the under seat storage tray and it's then accessible, easy enough. Same colour as my last LS400. Worrying the way they say "clean" example!

  3. In all seriousness, the longer you wait, the cheaper a GS-F will be. I think a white one would suit you sir

  6. I'm hear to help 🐀. This little beauty will enable Mrs Rat to get as close to the sea as she likes 👍, at a fraction of the cost. Thoughts on the photos @Flytvr? https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/canal-boat-narrowboat-BARGAIN/173027951753?hash=item2849450489:g:6eUAAOSwzppaLUFu&_trkparms=gclientid%3DxZrROtmDrfAJJ--lG-cahqHVkH1rqBQp1y1sXVldW5C3fqw6TtQQm-p2Yi1p8Tlm&_trksid=p2489528.m4335.l8656

  7. 40k is nice price for it. I'm slowly getting ready to replace my GS450h and was looking for the post facelift GS450h premier. Case is they are now more expensive and rare than the GS F so who know maybe I'll end up with the GS F :)Is there any owner around to share the experience ?

  8. Well William as I stated I would I'm reporting my findings. I switched to auto and then drive to normal. I then started the car then pressed the demist button and hey presto 1 click to demist. Thanks pal. Oh. It works in eco too as I tried it whilst at some lights. The fan sped up to max. Happy bunny now.

  11. Interesting. I agree with the ride and noise. Satnav to me is easy to use. I can input London without hassle and the road name if needed. Never had an issue with phone pairing either. Headlights are just syandard affair compare to NX which is probably why you thought they were bad. Additionally lower cars give a perception of less light given out on the road. Remember the CT is nearly 7 years old now despite all the facelifts that they keep bringing out. It just needs a complete overhaul to be honest.

  13. On the GS450H I used to have the engine always turned on when it was cold. Once warm the engine shut down when decelerating or braking and when standing still, the car would run on battery power alone up to around 20mph if you had a very light right foot but as soon as you want to make any real progress the engine would fire up and both would run in tandem. I think the system in the Lexus is set up a bit different to something like a Prius as that is an economy hybrid whereas Lexus is more of a performance hybrid.

  14. It'll be interesting to hear what difference you find if you have climate control set to auto before pressing Demist. Hope it makes a difference. One other point to bear in mind is that the manual says: "Operation of the air conditioning system in Eco drive mode In Eco drive mode, the air conditioning system is controlled as follows to prioritize fuel efficiency: ● Engine speed and compressor operation controlled to restrict heating/cooling capacity ● Fan speed restricted when automatic mode is selected". So, as well as auto climate control, check that the car isn't in Eco mode - ie switch to Normal or Sport - before pressing the Demist button.

  15. Arghh my eyes blue and beige Nice looking motor with the alternative wheels but not my cup of tea. Would need a nice black interior from an is220d... Mine is still pretty low around 20800 miles on the clock ,13 plate.

  17. Hi phil once you adjusted the tire pressures you need to reset the warning - the button is located just above the pedals - you need to switch on ignition and press and hold the button for a few seconds - hope this helps

  18. Hi Phil When I bought my car the vendor warned me the TPMS light would probably come on, and showed me how to reset it. On the 430 I believe it measures rotation, not actual pressure, looking for an anomaly between the wheels. It did come on, regularlly, until I bought 4 new tires. I haven't seen the warning in 20,000 miles since. So it's not just tyre pressure. HTH Jon

  19. Is 33psi the correct pressure? If not correct the pressure and recheck the TMPS If yes, then reset the TPMS system. Instructions should be in your handbook (downloadable from the My Lexus portal, if you don't have one)
