  1. Yes. That's my own car in the picture. [emoji2] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. Very nice. I think if/when I get a mk3 it'll probably be black. [emoji41] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. I've got GS450h front brakes on my car and I paid £157.50 for the discs and pads a couple of years ago. Genuine parts from Lexus Birmingham's eBay store. Does your Premier model have the larger 356mm 2-piece rotors and bigger calipers that are also fitted to an F-Sport? EDIT: Just read a few earlier posts and it appears the Premier does indeed have the BBK. Move along, nothing to see here. 🙂
  4. Welcome. 🙂 10mm/15mm spacers won't be a problem. You can actually go 15/20 but it might look a bit weird unless you also lower the car (IMO).
  5. Nice, and bonus kudos for having matching tyres. 😁 New/refurbed, or just well-cleaned wheels always lifts the appearance of the whole car.
  6. You can buy the selector panel as a standalone part. LHD version pictured, for RHD the part number is 35978-53010
  7. You can use normal car shampoo as a lubricant with that mitt. Just use whatever soapy water is left in your wash bucket. 👍
  8. I had 225/45R17 on the front of my old IS200, on 8" wide IS250 wheels. Plus, the suspension was lowered on Eibach springs and I didn't have any rubbing issues. The rear tyres were even wider (245/40R17), again no rubbing.
  9. You can import some from the USA. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F233259235200 The number of options available increases quite a bit if you include the GS350 in your search. Not sure if there would be any issues installing them on a hybrid though. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. I don't have an LS but I have noticed a small improvement since moving from "E" rated tyres to "C" rated Michelins. Maybe 1-2 MPG, which is welcome, but I consider it a bonus since the main deciding factor for me was the wet grip rating - A Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  11. Agreed. It's been on most of the loaners I've had whilst my car has been at the dealership and I find it obtrusive. It reduces your speed way too early for my liking.
  12. Yes, the facelift RC brakes are the same as the 4th-gen GS F-Sport. Like the IS250/300h->IS350 conversion featured in this topic, it's a bolt-on upgrade too. 🙂 The friction surface (disc), and the bell part that bolts to the car are 2 seperate pieces. Usually to save weight.
  13. 😄 Same thing happens in my IS250. I sh*t myself and thought I had a catastrophic engine or gearbox failure the first time it happened.
  14. Plenty of options for 1st and 2nd-gen IS over the years, but hardly any for 3rd-gen. Apparently, to swap the rear bar on an XE30 it's a huge undertaking, with the entire subframe having to be dropped/removed for access. That would explain the lack of support from the aftermarket world. A company called Hardrace do make them though. Front ARB Rear ARB
  15. I noticed recently that all of Shell's pumps are now clearly stating how much "non-fuel" is in their products.
  16. Check whether your local TOYOTA garage has a Hunter 4-wheel alignment machine. Mine does, and they charge £39 for a check.
  17. Denso Same dilemma. Bought a set, with the intention of changing them, but car is running perfect (and not quite yet at 60K anyway), so I'll leave them for now.
  18. Should be easy enough to swap yourself if you can source a replacement. Give www.lexuspartsdirect.co.uk a try. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. Great write-up and pictures. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  20. Should be a couple of bolts deep in the area where you removed the heated seats/ TRC panel. There's another 2 bolts at the top of the stereo unit. To get at them, you need to remove the top part of the dash with the central air vents. On a car without navigation you literally just grab the top of the dash and pull it off, but it might be different on a car that has the nav screen there. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. Japan and Europe are both DVD Region 2. Their TV system standard, however, is NTSC (60Hz), not PAL.(50Hz). Maybe that's the issue.
  22. My pick would be OSRAM Nightbreaker, or Cool Blue Intense. For the fogs.... I bought these for my previous IS250, but never got around to fitting them. They're no good to me now as 2011 cars have a different bulb type. You can have them if you can paypal a few quid to cover P&P.
