I reckon this one will get divided views! I know there are a lot of purists on here but as a long term modifier of all things automotive it was only a matter of time before the ISF came under the knife. Fear not Big Rat, all original parts have been kept for prosperity (and the next owner)! Not the best weather for a photo shoot but anything to avoid wrapping presents! So, here is my 2009 ISF with the following mods, some close ups of the most recent additions will follow; Rear High Level Roof-line Spoiler in Body Colour, H&S Cat Back Exhaust with X-Pipe, HPS Intake Elbow, K&N Drop-In Filter, Tein H-Tech Springs (Only the Fronts fitted giving a 25mm drop - front and rear tyre gap now matches ), H&R Spacers Front and Rear (15mm widened track each side), Tom's Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser, Novel Carbon Fibre Duct Panels, Black Plasti-Dipped Front Main Grill. I've also got the CF Fog Light Trims, Auto-Technic CF Front Splitters and a Wald Style Rear Spoiler (in Body Colour) to go on in Mid-Jan when I get the front bumper resprayed. I'll also be relocating the front number plate then (controversial!). Enjoy! (or maybe despise.... the choice is yours!)1 point

You could lose alot of money having a spend up on these sites, then you're better off buying your own aircraft to fly it back, cheaper than the postage...1 point

Zoom into the road kill and you might just see a 225 40 19 Bridgestone print. . . Definatley a ISF in that picture 🤣1 point

This is now fixed. Turned out to be nothing to do with the car but a hidden aftermarket phone kit which was no longer in use but still connected. Must have been something wrong with how it was connected for it to beep as loud and as frequent as it did but it's been ripped out now and the beep is gone. Fortunately it was located behind the passenger side of the dash where the recall took place so the dealer removed it for free.1 point

Oh, and I agree the Stinger is going to be a bargain in a couple of years time. Another advantage of a streaming service - I have skipped every celebrity segment this season.1 point

Nope, it is a dedicated Amazon service. As far as I am aware, there are 3 ways to access Prime video - from a computer, a built in app on your tv (if available), or with an Amazon Fire stick or Fire TV. See here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01ETRIFOW?ie=UTF8&tag=googhydr-21&hvadid=224385023008&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=817050420235069975&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006629&hvtargid=kwd-93083334562&ref=pd_sl_5a451lrvs7_e @Linas.P is also right that it shouldn't matter if it is on wifi or wired as the bandwidth and latency requirements are relatively low. Although, Linas, Cat7 actually refers to the fact that the twisted pairs are individually shielded for better crosstalk control, rather than the flatness. As for the PC, again, pretty much anything modern will cope easily with the demands. For example, my streaming PC uses the built-in graphics capability of my Intel Pentium G4560 processor to output via HDMI in 4K. In regard to the background viewing behind Clarkson, it is definitely not a coincidence Something for the predominately male audience to look at. You have obviously not been paying attention because not only have they been doing it since the beginning of the Grand Tour, but during the old Top Gear as well, although in that case it was behind Hammond.1 point

Looking at that picture it would seem to be straightforward with the van at fault. The car was coming from his right so he should have given way. Having said that, the overarching principle is that if you have right of way, you should complete your action or manoeuvre only if it is safe to do so. I suppose that it could be argued that she wasn't paying due care and attention or she would perhaps have seen that the van driver was approaching the roundabout a bit too fast to stop and was on a collision course with her, so she should have stopped instead.1 point

especially IS-F and IS220d.. IS250 not that much... The reason I said GS is because ... why would I fit GS-F seats into IS.. that would not look right. In GS450h for example that would be and upgrade.1 point

That's a proper middle class picture!!!! "My Lexus ISF also doubles as a bottle holder/opener"1 point

If the runners in an ISF are similar to a GSF and you can swap them seats then you would be fine in the IS. The ISF and IS are practically the same car anyway......lol1 point

No way! I can only imagine Mrs Rat's reaction to seeing 'another bloody ISF'1 point

He actually said "admitting fault" not "being at fault". Most policies require that you do not admit anything that may prejudice your or the insurance company's case1 point

It is beyond amazing that exactly on the day when somebody asks there is full set of immaculate seats for GS-F... I mean Lexus parts are very rare, yet alone mk4 Lexus GS... I am not even talking about GS-F.. I am almost tempted to get this set... even though I don't even need it, but I know that is like one in lifetime opportunity and if I would ever need them there will be no way of getting ...1 point

Realistically, gearbox failure would write most of these cars off, unless you are able to do your own repair work.1 point

The IS300 in my opinion isn't comparable to an Accord. If that's your comparison, then the CL9 Accord is the better car on the whole (IMO of course) Against a IS250, not a fair comparison. Think apples and oranges. Sent from my Note 8 using Tapatalk1 point

I drop her off at the door (my wife that is, not yours!) and then go and park. A compromise that she is happy with. Also, by the time I've parked she's already started the shopping which reduces my time in the shop!1 point

Further to me previous post on this topic, I think have now solved the problem on my 400h As other forum members have suggested, you get a massive improvement in rear vision at night on the reversing system screen on the dashboard, if you remove the little shades that cover the bulbs. To remove the clusters, Just follow the bulb replacement instructions in the manual and that will expose the light clusters. The light clusters are held in by just 3 Phillips type screws. Undo those and that releases the cluster. Then there is just one small Phillips screw that holds the shade in place. undo the screw, remove the shade and then put it all back together (without the shades) and replace the cluster on the door. This makes a massive difference and increases what you can see by a huge margin. However, having borrowed another car with a similar system (Honda CRV) I was aware that the rear view screen could be even better, so I replaced the 16w bulbs with some LEDs that you can get from ebay. The instructions for doing this are in the manual (same as part one of above). if you did both jobs at the same time, you will save a lot of work. this did not trigger any faults on the bulb sensors on the car and we now have vastly improved and effective rear view vision.1 point

Hi Just found some replacements which 'may' solve the issue, if you can afford them! http://www.powerbulbs.com/store/category/car-bulbs/fitting/p21w-382 Regards1 point

Suggest using Canbus LED bulbs - less wattage brighter output.1 point
