Phillips Blue Vision Bulbs

I want to replace the standard headlight bulbs in my IS200 with these ones from powerbulbs.com but I'm unsure as to which ones I need. Do I need one pair for the low beam and one pair for the main beam?

Does anyone know the model numbers of Blue Vision bulbs I need for my Lex?

I believe it's a 9005 for full beam

and 9006 for your headlight.

I was very unimpressed with the philips blue visions, they were not any brighter than the factory oem bulbs :(

If your looking for a brighter more HID look then go for some PIAA bulbs or some that use Xenon gas as these burn with a brigher whiter light.

There is likely to be a group buy on offer soon in the 'Gold' section for this headlamp upgrade. The Blue Vision will only improve your vision in poor weather, the Xenon product will give you better light in all conditions.

The Phillips are whiter.. Change one at a time and compare..

I was dissapointed AFTER i fitted the HID headlamps....

But my new X-WHITES are BRILL.. But pricey.

perhaps my bulbs were not the original ones when I changed them to the blue vision ones.

to be honest I liked the cheap Xenon ones i got from eBay the best and they were only $15.00

I put a small guide together all about changing the bulbs with pics too

its super easy to do just dont touch the glass of the bulbs with your bare fingers.

Do I just follow the workshop guide? It doesn't mention how to change the bulbs, so I assume at the end of the workshop guide it's straight forward?

Try using the supplier in Gold, I and a lot of members have used this supplier and have not had any problems.

Ordered and received 2 PIAA xtreme white bulbs, gonna put them in tomorrow.

Bigup to ***** ****** (Kevin) who gave the discount but more importantly gave a very responsive service..

Will comment on how bright and white they are tomorrow! :D

Just hope I don't knock them while I'm putting them in!
