Who do you use for mats and boot liner

Recommended Posts

I dont rate the lexus boot mat at all. Poorly made and flimsy. Relatively light weight plastic I bought a far superior product on eBay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TM-TAILORED-RUBBER-BOOT-LINER-MAT-TRAY-for-LEXUS-NX-since-2014/143514851405

Heavy duty rubber and a perfect fit.

The Lexus rubber mats are excellent however.

Hello to everyone and thank you in advance . Just purchased a new Lexus NX looking to buy genuine Lexus boot liner and rubber floor mats were do you purchase . Take care

+1 for Lexus Parts Direct, but didn’t your NX come with the boot liner and also with a set of rubber and a set of carpet mats? Both of my NXs have come with them as standard.

EDIT, just checked and they both had the protection pack fitted, which provides mud flaps, two sets of mats and the boot liner as well as the stainless steel rear bumper protection strip. Seems to represent fair value, so may be worth asking the dealer to retro fit?

Agreed, the Lexus boot liners are not what they once were.

I got one for my GS from these people:

Decisons, decisions another add on to my NX when I take possession of it on 1st April.... Similar price similar products these two once delivery is taken into account. Which will I get? More research needed in the light of day... From comments made in this thread I am avoiding the Lexus branded and more expensive one and going for one of these two used by silversalmon and colin barber. I carry our dog in a wire cage in the back of my car around once a week so I usually put in a boot liner.

^^ Yes indeed, that’s surprised me - it appears to have changed since my 2017 and 2018 NX, both of which got the set of rubber mats (to go with the standard carpet mats supplied). Certainly looking at the Lexus website it doesn’t mention rubber mats, but I’d check with your dealer.

I’d agree that the Lexus OE boot protector feels a bit cr4p. Too hard and too easily marked for me. I’ve had one in both of my NX cars. If I needed to buy one I’d buy an aftermarket one for sure.

Not exactly mats as such but a great bit of frippery for your p&j

Came across these on ebay, sold by angiegrecco London, £8 for 4! Silicon and Nice quality fit perfectly into cup/bottle holders.

I have ordered this one from eBay without the ribbed sections from the same seller - coming from Bournemouth allegedly, but registered sellers address is Poland https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TAILORED-RUBBER-BOOT-LINER-MAT-for-Lexus-NX-300h-since-2014/121805641986  I think the flatter profile right across the liner is better for my dog cage and carrying suitcases etc. Its a few quid cheaper than the one with the organiser sections. Thanks for the advice guys.

I have this one in my NX:-

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Novline-Tailored-Rubber-Boot-Liner-for-Lexus-NX-14-20-Pet-Protector-Dog-Mat-Tray/261885160329

It's a perfect fit however it does tend to scratch quite easily. On the plus side it could be mistaken for a Lexus branded one due to the embossed "L" markings that look very similar, if not identical, to the Lexus "L" 😛

Hi Phil. Do these fit over the top of the cup holders to blank off the holes underneath or do they fit into the bottom of the cup holders to form a new base?

I just noticed this genuine Lexus branded NX boot matt for sale secondhand on eBay at £36 or make offer. Seller lives in Preston if anyone is interested:

Thanks Andy B and others for steering me towards an altenative boot mat / boot liner than the the one offered by Lexus. Mine just arrived within a week of ordering, boxed, well packed and wrapped. Here are some photos of liner straight out of the box. This is the one Made in Poland featured in Andy B's link with my size 10 on it! Its tough and flexible, I rate it.

Best wishes

Yes - you are right. I shoudld have said the link was that from silver salmon:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TM-TAILORED-RUBBER-BOOT-LINER-MAT-TRAY-for-LEXUS-NX-since-2014/143514851405?utm_source=LexusOwnersClubUK&utm_medium=ForumLinks&utm_source=LexusOwnersClubUK&utm_medium=ForumLinks&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5336640300&toolid=10001&customid=2061X563690Xb92bcb7604aa10be84bbfd290101b89c

Mine was supplied from the same seller and is not compartmentalised, and was a little cheaper here is a link to the very item:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TAILORED-RUBBER-BOOT-LINER-MAT-for-Lexus-NX-300h-since-2014/121805641986?epid=2020180867&hash=item1c5c2e9902:g:RJ4AAOSwqHNgM5l6

Delighted with it...

Thanks for pointing out my error Wayne.

Cheers, Phil
