  1. Hi all, Just had 11.5 rears on 285/30/20 and 9.5 fronts on 265's with 5mm spacers. Next job is orange calipers to tidy up. Had a Borla Cat back system fitted as well, which I highly recommend! Cheers Matt

  2. I spent some time in an LC500 on Friday. Liked it 👌 The Mrs is also ‘making’ me drive a C63 Coupe

  3. Just thought I'd share a couple of pic of my Lexus ls400. Had her about a month now. Gave her a full service including sparkplugs etc and had her lpg converted and fixed the air con leak. It also has the half wood steering wheel too.

  5. I don't know if I was young, good looking and minted like they are I probably would stick two fingers up to the oldies such as my self and generally have a good time with any of the young girls throwing themselves at the cars.

  6. That does look nice. They look brand new in that colour when washed and polished. I'm off to a petting farm in stoke today with my little one. She loves it too saying "it's really comfy in here dad"

  7. I'm only about 15miles away and more than willing to pop over sometime. However I'm out of the country for a couple of weeks so will drop you a PM when back and see if we can arrange something.

  9. For a defined part number use Lexus EU Tech docs, enter VIN number and goto the EPC section. This should verify the part numbers. (Have to pay to have access) Then goto Amayama.com and check the price - shipped from JPN is around £200 quid - then you have the pleasure of Parcelfarce UK charging VAT and handling. Still cheaper than UK prices.. Part number for my fsport WITH seat memory (2016 reg) is

  11. I don't think so. Bushes were mentioned. Certainly now runs completely silently with no issues.

  12. Denis, not only London has a problem with "everybody could be Bob the LPG-Builder". My current GS has LPG system made in Wales with Polish pedigree, and it is far away from perfect. But for example previous GS had "made in Edinburgh" system on Duch and Japanese parts, and it was like the best LPG system in the EU, maybe in the world (my neighbour enjoys her now). I use LPG in a half of my cars last decade or more. 18 or17 years ago I was like many people "don't [censored] good car with some unholy modifications". Next I tried, even when it was really hard yet, and LPG systems were really primitive. Next I learn about, trained myself, and by the way LPG systems were better and better. Still, like 6 years ago, when we family used like two or three LPG cars, and I mentioned to LPGied thirsty toy (Ford Thunderbird 5.0 😎 ) my wife shouted on me "DONT RUIN V8!!". So we did not ruin V8 🤪 But now, with modern LPG systems and proper installations, and mileage like 80 miles per day in V8, it is no-brainer for me.

  14. Before I got my last one done I did not want just anyone tampering with the engine, it was only because of the excellent write ups on Profess S Wales I got mine done, perfect job. But, here in London the conversion companies got a very bad reputation for poor instillations which caused lot of probs, i suspect/heard that was down to poorly trained or semi trained staff & the typical London attitude to jump on the bandwagon whilst the money flows, then liquidate & get out quick

  15. It's really refreshing to hear a positive comment about the mouse. I came from an IS with touchscreen to my GS with mouse and much prefer the mouse. Easier to use and less distracting. And now I've got use to the menus can do most things without taking my eyes off the road.

  17. Are you looking at page 374 and 375 of the manual? The images show a lhd interior. P374 is showing the tyre pressure reset button. On rhd models it is more to the right of the steering column. P375 shows the position of the switch for the TPMS on a lhd model. It is not in the glove box. On rhd models it is on the passenger side, underneath the dash and next to the bulb that illuminates the footwell.

  21. Just as an update i got the part in the post yesterday and fitted it, nice easy fit so all is good now. It was a second hand part so had some small scratching but better than paying hundreds to Lexus. Thanks all for the suggestions.

  22. Well I found the car that fitted the criteria. An honest car... Cared for, but used all the same. It's a 10 plate. 66,000 mile, full Lexus history motor. It was 134 miles away. I downloaded the my Lexus app and tried it. Put reg in and it showed sec/acc/pcs. Having not used the app before I thought maybe it has the acc after all though it could be a generic listing. Fingers crossed. Any way arrived. Looked round the car. Pretty mint. Odd tiny stone chip. Not been abused, not driven behind a gritter truck for hrs. Was quite happy. Looked inside. Mark Levinson, dab radio works, and acc/pcs. So effectively the dream spec. Paul Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  23. If we are talking about new cars, the M4 is a no-brainer. Much cheaper to buy on a PCP, free services, three years unlimited miles warranty then on the 35th month, you give it back to the BMW finance and look for the next model and so on and so forth

  24. I had one of the best drives home from work I’ve ever had this week playing for a good 10 miles with an M4. I had no issues keeping up in my 2008 ISF which surprised me a little and probably surprised him more! It’s made me love the F just that little bit more. I love the M cars (had one) and I think I expected it to leave me for dead. Very pleased it didn’t!

  25. Ok 4 bikes on the bicycle carrier and it hasn't move an inch. I'm extremely happy with this carrier! Easy to set up and very stable. Drove the car with the 4 bikes to the New forest without any problems. Of course you need to drive carefully and not like a maniac ha ha!

  27. I have to say, the Quicksilver exhaust is MUCH louder than stock, but only gets admiring glances and comments. It's not 'asbo' loud. As others' have said, if starting early in the morning / late at night, just knock the car straight in to gear. Job done! 👍

  28. And, for example, for me, this is THE point. Like - why I am in lexus GS V8, not in audi S6 or bmw M5, with 100HP more etc? First and mostly, because there is a lot of S6 nd M5 here and a thousand of "same" A6 and 5 series in the area. How many GS V8 there is in Greater Glasgow? A few? I meet common GS300 once a year. And far far next there is a price, reliability, style, etc. And IMHO real differences in performance between M4 or RCF, or GS V8 and S6 or M5, etc. on the public roads, average all year, are marginal. But this is example, of course. For another guy, performace would be everything. Or style. Or price. Or interior. Or anything. So, think deeply about your priorites first, and about previous experiences (what made you deeply happy with previous cars - trackday? passer-by's admiration? superb interior? reliability? etc), and choice could be pretty easy.

  29. Here’s a pessimistic thought. Whatever you buy, if you’re like me and many others, you’ll get itchy feet after a year or so! 🤪

  30. Most dealers won't give you a part number. VAG don't either. I'm not surprised it's exoensive. Probably just get hold of it from a breaker. Only IS,RC and GS ones will fit
