Right i picked up a "Lexus" numberplate surround off eBay the other week and test fitted a plate into it today.

But i cant decide so what you all reckon?

Can either have the normal plate with Chrome Surround:

Or the GB plate i have on now:

Or a combination of the two?

Also; i have a second surround (they came as two) but i'm not using it so if someone wants it make me an offer. (though the plate just needs a bit trimming off each side to fit, or you could get a custom one built to fit.)

Stick with the GB plate, no surround... The George cross idea does puzzle me, showing English pride on a Japanese car, I just don't get it.. Had a fella round here who decorated his Mercedes with a George cross and three lions for the World cup.. Clearly I missed something

Personally, I prefer it without the surround mate. As for the plate, how do you think it would look with the sides cut down and moved slightly lower so its vertically central as well? Making the whole lot central?

Transporter - Its about the person too... not just the country of the car.

Stick with the Normal GB plate then.

But.....theres 3 people that voted yes to the Chrome, If any of them want to take the surrounds (i got a pack of two) off my hands then drop me a pm.

No to the chrome.

Also remove the GB and get a plain 6" (the wider original plate). I got mine from Lexus main dealer, only about £8 and looks better than the 4" narrow one the previous owner had put on.... Personal opinion though.

:offtopic: Have you reverted back to the original letter spacing? as opposed to M 5TAV? or was that just for the photos
